Ken Lyman  32 Deuce Sedan  Green Bay, WI

32 Ford -with American Torq-Thrusts II 005

We have owned our Deuce sedan for over 25 years now and have had several good times with it and our family and friends on day trips and car show cruises, even vacation trips to the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Ky for the first event there. Our two children grew up in the Deuce and it is definitely one of the family..
I planned on rebuilding our Deuce over a 10 year period but we were having too much fun wilth it do dismantle it and have it apart for what I figured would be about a two year project.

About 20 years ago a good friend and I redid the chassis and installed a Corvette rear which improved the ride considerably from what was previously in the car. Now, finally last winter I had the top chopped and the soft top removed and filled with a station wagon roof section and currently it is in the process of stripping paint and some minor body work isssues. After it is painted and reassembly is completed it will be time for a nice interior which has been on the want list ever since we got the car.
Hopefully we will have the Deuce completed by the time I turn 65 in March of 2009 so we can use it to attend several rod runs and trips in the summer of 2009 and probably indoctrinate the grandchildren into the joys of the Deuce on some adventures down the highways and backroads of our great country.
Thanks .......Ken Lyman

The Deuce is currently stripped of paint for the most part and some metal massaging on the fenders is being performed by the son of a friend who has known the car as he was growing up because I more or less got his dad involved in street rodding by taking him to a rod run about 20+ years ago. Shortly after that he bought a 39 Chevy coupe that he has had ever since.
