INFINEON RACEWAY—On Saturday, March 22, Vacaville's nostalgia drag race driver Bob Choisser, put his Braco's Dixon Lube & Tune sponsored 1972 Chevrolet "Bad Vega" Kammback station wagon, into the Street/Trophy division winners circle at the Summit Racing Equipment ET Series Easter Bracket drag race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. Choisser prevailed over 106 competitors in the Street/Trophy Division, taking the final race late in the afternoon with a 13.411 second 101.21 mph run with an .020 RT driving into a strong afternoon headwind. Choisser was on his game all day compiling an average reaction time of .0372 in the Street/Trophy Division elimination races.

The Easter weekend session was the second in Summit's ET Series for 2008 at the raceway. Choisser won over the November Thanksgiving weekend Street Division winner Michael Bogdanoff, in the semi-final round by the slim margin of just .0007 seconds. The race was won at the start line as Choisser's .049 RT bettered Bogdanoffs .084 RT with both drivers running very close to their dial-in numbers.

Choisser's crew chief Bob Edmonds, also of Vacaville, said, "I knew he could win. It was just a matter of time". Edmonds was an crucial part of Choissers Sunday performance, adjusted the dial-in times according to the ever increasing head wind blowing into the drivers faces as well as tweaking aspects of performance on the car all day long and finally bringing it to it's winning race performance. Other track conditions were excellent on the day before Easter at the top tier race track with bright sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid 70's.

The team of Choisser and Edmonds plan to continue racing the 350 SBC powered Vega in the Summit Series as well as the Return To Kingdon III race in Lodi, CA. in May and
