The Unforgettable Autos Car Club, in conjunction with the Dunellen NJ Rotary, hosted the 27th annual Car Show and Swap Meet at Skinner Plaza (Dunellen Train Station Parking Lot). While last year’s turnout broke all past records, this year’s participant turnout was no record breaker by a long shot. Once again the culprit may have been that there were two other Shows in close proximity to the Dunellen Show, and therefore a good number of potential participants for the Dunellen Show, may have opted to try out the new kids on the block. Other than the smaller than  2012 participant showing, the 26th annual Car Show and Swap Meet was fun, with plenty of nice cars, and Trucks to see, a nice cool Library to go to if needed, and use if their Restrooms for the Show participants. The Dunellen Rotary did the usual fine job of serving up Hotdogs, Hamburgers, and Drinks, there were 3 participants for the Model Car contest, and a very nice tribute to one of the long time Members of both the Dunellen Rotary and Unforgettable Autos, Bill Hatton, who passed away in March of this year. Bill was the prime mover in getting the Car Show going, and the Club Liaison to the Rotary, and is sorely missed by ALL who knew him.
