’40 Chevy – Mike Mancuso ~ Islip Terrace, NY. I am the owner and builder. The 1940 Chevy was completed Dec 2002. I don’t do this professionally. I did body work many years ago, but now it’s a hobby. The ’40 Chevy is the first car I have done with that much work to it. Here’s some details: Powertrain 305 TPI w/4spd auto tranny, Mustang II front and Nova rear. Completely stripped of paint. Rust and dents repaired and body then customized. All sheet-metal parts for bumpers, fenders, running boards, and hood scoops hand fabricated. Paint color Autumn Maple Firemist 1985 Cadillac Base coat / Clear coat.
