49th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals This Weekend

Thousands of street rods, muscle cars, customs and classics will roll into the Kentucky Exposition Center this weekend, August 2-5, 2018, as the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) presents its 49th Annual Street Rod Nationals.

This year marks the 25th time the NSRA Street Rod Nationals have been held in Louisville. Along with the awesome autos, the event will feature live music, a swap meet, the massive Women's World arts and crafts fair and special appearances by Chip Foose, Cherielynn and Stacey David. All this will take place in and around the huge, air-conditioned Kentucky Expo Center.

Included in this event are muscle cars, those factory produced high horsepower machines from the 60’s and 70’s, along with the classic cars of the 50’s. This is truly unique mix of old and new together and a national gathering of fine vintage automobiles of every description. The NSRA Street Rod Nationals is the area’s largest automotive participation event, and spectators from around the area will make it a point to attend.

Make sure to check out the "StreetKhana Autocross" too, where fans can see some high-performance cars do what they were designed for, or even drop into a seat themselves for an exciting, free ride-along.

Still not sure if this is your kind of event? Check out some of our coverage from last year's show and see for yourself! You can also find further information on NSRA's own website.

The NSRA has been serving rodders since 1970. It's an organization dedicated to bringing rodders together with quality events. The NSRA has many programs designed to benefit our hobby, most notably the 23 Point Inspection provided FREE at all NSRA events and many other rod runs and shows around the country, which ensures that the vehicles we love to drive are as safe as they are cool! Check out the NSRA today to learn about the benefits of membership and to register for the awesome lineup of shows. Now you can bring that Muscle Car or Tri Five to an NSRA Show... Cars of the '50s, '60s and '70s are welcome.
