’62 T-Bird Hardtop – Gary Lewis ~ Wildwood, MO. Next to the Classic Birds, I always liked the Bullet birds the best. I bought this car in Kalispell, MT in June of 2002. Stripped to bare metal, nosed, shaved, and decked by Dave Stark. Roger Shattuck of Special Effects applied Silver Blue Metallic with BC 180 metal flake, followed by four coats of clear, color sanded & buffed. Balanced & blueprinted Ford High Performance M Code 390 c.i. with 10:5:1 compression and Tri-Power. Lowered 2” and sports 17×8 American Racing Torque Thrust wheels w/255/45 rubber. Ford C-6 trans and 9” rear. I plan to detail the engine and install Vintage AC next year. The T-Bird has done pretty well on the car show circuit, taking home seven trophies in six shows.
