Once again, it’s time for the Autorama! The Cobo Center is bursting with hot rods to warm even the coldest Detroit day.
Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, hosted by the Michigan Hot Rod Association and billed as America’s Greatest Hot Rod Show, the three day event features over 800 custom classic cars and motorcycles and culminates in the presentation of the Ridler Award, one of the highlights of the hot rod show season and the highest honor in the community. This award is presented to the most outstanding NEW custom car, bringing builders from all over the world to the show to display their creations. Eight cars, the “Great 8,” are chosen for consideration. The winner gets $10,000 cash and a custom trophy and jacket.
