As enthusiats of the salt look ahead to the August events at Bonneville, there’s another event to anticipate – a big centenniel celebration of the accomplishments, triumphs and tears that have graced the Salt Flats over the past 100 years. “Bonneville: A Century of Speed” will debut at the 2014 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA this coming January, celebrating 100 years of racing. The exhibit will gather togeter many of the world’s fastest vehicles that raced across Bonneville’s floor, including both land speed rcord cars and motorcycles.
The exhibition will help raise awareness of the “Save the Salt” campaign, as will the “Bonnevill A Century of Speed” book, that will be available at the show as part of a fundraising campaign for the foundation.
