That elusive 200mph is a goal of nearly every type of Land Speed Racer, and Aaron Brown is no different. The contrast lies in what he's trying hit the big 2-0-0 in. The Uncatchable, his 1939 Ford Street Legal Land Speed rat rod, has been purpose built to be cool in both resting mode, and racing along the mile.
Uncatchable is a '39 Ford Truck body that Brown found on RacingJunk.com, powered by a Roush Yates engine and a C&R Racing transmission and gears. It's a crowd favorite at car shows, and is getting closer to hitting 200 with every pass.
HotRodHotline.com had a chance to chat with Aaron recently, following his pass at the Ohio Mile during the Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed Challenge where the vehicle did two near identical passes of 186.4 and 186.5.
