We’ve been in touch recently regarding American Detours, a new web series that takes classic cars out of the garage and out onto epic American roads. Today I’m excited to announce the Episode 2 premiere! Episode 2 (airing exclusively online) features hosts Jeff Glucker (Hooniverse) and Jael De Pardo (SyFy channel) cruising the scenic Creole Nature Trail in Southwest Louisiana in an original ’71 Mustang.
American Detours is about enjoying and actually using collector cars the way they were intended: on the open road. The featured ‘71 Grabber Green Mustang is a work-in-progress and proof that classic cars don’t have to be show winners in order to provide a fun driving experience.
You can go out any weekend and see rows of show cars, but what about the thrill of cruising a collector car down the road and taking in local treasures? That’s the feeling we capture in American Detours.
American Detours, presented by American Collectors Insurance, pairs epic American roads with collector cars. Episode 2 features a late first generation daily driver (’71 Ford Mustang) cruising the scenic Creole Nature Trail in Southwest Louisiana.
