Brian Darwas releases short film on The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop

“The Rolling Bones drive their hot rods from New York to Utah. . . race them at Bonneville, then drive them back home.  I’m not sure there’s anything else I could add that would give someone a better reason to document what they’re doing.” ~ Brian Darwas

Brian Darwas, is the Award Winning Director of  feature length documentaries “A Sweet Sickness” and “The Devil at Your Feet”.  He’s now changing things up a bit, by making short films that anyone can share freely.  The “Rolling Bones” is his short documenting a hot rod shop from New York’s journey to Bonneville.

The Rolling Bones are a shop with a true passion for hot rods, and Darwas does a great job capturing it. The Rolling Bones were founded by one guy trying to help another guy find a three window coupe, and the rest is history. The short opens with one owner, Ken Shmidt, hammering out a panel to a horn arrangement that makes it seem like they are going to battle, or in their case, Bonneville.
