In 2017, for the first time ever, the CLC Grand National will include judging for Modified Cadillacs and LaSalles. At the upcoming Magnificent Modifieds car show on October 25th, there will be a pilot judging with 3-8 volunteer judges and cars to participate in the judging.
Each modified car owner who pre-registers for this show will receive a framed certificate of appreciation for participating, and they will have the opportunity to experience the pilot judging that will take full form in 2017.
In addition to pilot judges, owners of registered vehicles will also be judging their peers’ vehicles. Classes of vehicles will include Pre-War Modifieds, Post-War Modifieds Early (1946-64), Post-War Modifieds Late (1965-present), 1902-1942 Cadillac/LaSalle, and a variety of other time frames for Cadillacs.
Awards will be given to a winning vehicle in each class, as well as Best of Show, Best Pre-War, Best Post-War, Dealer’s Choice, Ladies’ Choice, Young Judges’ Choice, and Long Distance.
If you are interested in being a judge at this event, inform CLC Chief Judge Bill Anderson of your interest and contact information by email at [email protected] or by mail at 2198 Johns Hopkins Road, Gambrills, MD 21054 on or before October 23rd.
