Andy Kassa .....1932 Three Window Coupe ( Kassa's Coupe )

Andy Kassa of Passaic, NJ built this show car back in 1954, and it was extensively modified over the years. This was considered One of the Most Favorite at all East Coast shows in the 1950's. In addition to being chopped and channeled, it sported a wild four-carb flathead with distinctive tubular air cleaners. George Barris hammered an asymmetrical single-headlight grille that caused the car to be renamed "the Cyclops Deuce." During the years of showing the car it had over 4 different paint jobs and other names such as "Jersey Gem", "Ruby Rod" and "Dreamboat" This show car with many wins was featured in magazines and show programs coast to coast. “Definitely Archetypical Hot Rod.”

Andy passed away on Oct. 24 1998.... A car legend has left the world. He may never have known it, but he had a following who remembered his 32 Coupe.

The brilliant Red Coupe, which had been restored by Kassa’s friends from the Meadowlands Street Rods The coupe was picked as of one of 9 cars selected to the 2001 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance hot rod coupe class competition. Andy ride will be featured as one the the TOP 75 SIGNIFICANT "32 FORD HOT RODS" at the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona, CA.

Thank you Al for The pictures and story of this great 32 Coupe.
