I have been enjoying your emailed updates for some time now. I have viewed the cars on the Rodders Row and enjoy seeing what they've built and are building. I have contemplated for some time as to whether or not to submit some photos of one of my cars. Since it's now winter and I have to stay indoors, I thought I'd give it a try. It's a rust free 1962 Ford Falcon Futura. We removed the front suspension in favor of a Heidts MII suspension (this was before they had a kit for a Falcon). We also removed the stock rear leaf spring suspension and fabricated a triangulated four bar with air springs from Air Ride Technologies. We installed an injected 5.0L V8 (with air conditioning of course) and AOD transmission. It has many other subtle modifications like 4 wheel disc brakes and shoulder harness seat belts for everyone. It's sometimes overlooked at car shows maybe because its too subtle or maybe because it looks like grandpa's car. My family and I really enjoy it since it seats 6 comfortably. Except for paint and upholstery, the work was done by my youngest son and I. Thanks for lending an ear.
