Here is some picture I just found of the 29 Ford Roadster we built a few years back. This 29 is all steel and every part of the body and frame was built by hand. Now when I say by hand that is just what I mean. Each and every part was formed using nothing more than a hammer heat and grinder. You will find NO BONDO here. The man in our shop a 62 year old Armenian has been building cars this way for over 50 years. It's a joy to see him at work. A true master craftsman. We are very fortunate to have him. But the sad part is I just don't have the time to be able to work with him and try to learn his true talent. When his time is up he will take with him a lost art. The 29 equipped with suicide doors the plate folds up so not to be seen at shows. The taillights are hidden behind the graphics. The trunk, doors, plate and extra compartment can all be opened or closed remotely. The color is a mix of burnt orange candy orange and just a hint of flake. The interior is done in vanilla ice cream. It's powered by a Ford 302 and a 4c trans. Well that's about it... "THAT'S MY STORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT". | ||
Thank you Bob for the pictures of this beautiful car! |
