Hi All, We started the project this summer at Paul Neese's Street Rod Welding and Fabrication in Hurst, TX. A set of American Stamping rails were used with an 8" Ford rear-end. It will run a 283 cu.in. Chevy V-8 with a powerglide or possibly a '48 Merc flat motor if I'm able to acquire it. An old dropped axle which will be drilled with split wishbones front and rear. We have a floor in it now and readt to whack the top. We have to brace the "B" pillars first and install bear claw door latches. The car will get a '35 Chevy Std. Dash (with instrument cluster in the center) really looks good, like it was made for it; after a little "tweakin" of course. I'm very excited about the project, since with will be my first real early Hot Rod. So here's a few before and after shots. Dean. |
