So my name is Josh Stratton I live in Myrtle Creek Oregon and I am 16 years Old and going to be a junior in high school. I don't know when I first became interested in older cars. My gradfather has a couple old cars and I've been attending shows with him for as long as I can remember. I just got this car in around March. I had to sell my 91 Camaro RS to get it. The car is the pointy nosed cousin of the Chevelle the Pontiac Lemans from 1970. I've had the Lemans for several months now and so far we have done a whole lot of cleaning and painting. We have put a new shell on the dash and replaced the steering column and wiring in that area. More recently we put down bed liner in the floor pan of the car and got all lights working. The hardest part by far was getting all the wiring right. One of the previous owners had really jumbled it up. Laying down the bed liner was pretty easy and it made the floor pan look much better. Any shows nearby I attend as much as possible. What I think is important to the future of rodding is a interest in younger people. I know very few kids other than me around here who are into it.
