Our Collection - Brent Stackhouse. What a year it has been, what an incredible collection to be blessed with.... however reluctantly we are all just caretakers of this rolling art we call "our rides". Now having the smallest Garage of my life yet the home of my dreams, it was time to pare the collection down to 2. Imagine if you will. You must pick only 1 or 2 of your children which one would you keep! Fortunately these beasts don't have a soul and sharing this art form is what makes this hobby so much fun. Hording and trailers are for sissies. I would imagine each in the audience would have their own pick as to which 2 they would keep. We all have our own favorites based on our fondest memories first, then the shear beauty of the lines or the visceral muscle and speed. In this great land of America cars are our identity like it or not they say who we are...as shallow as that sounds we give in to our base desires. The rest of the world looks on with envy...just look online at the car shows in Europe, Japan and Australia.
Through all this car and boat trading I made a friend a brother really in Sweden. He sends me pictures of car shows there. I recognize some of the cars from over here in fact a friend of his came over here recently and bought a 53 Ford Victoria that I had owned about 8 years earlier. Small world this brotherhood of gear heads.
In any case I kept the 47 Ford with the Halibrand’s and the 67 Chevelle. What are your first choices? Style and speed are always good... aint it fun?
Thanks again for a great web site and helping me with the sales.
May all your roads be free of potholes and may God Bless, Brent Stackhouse
