While the first Cruise Night of the METUCHEN N.J. DOWNTOWN CRUISE NIGHT series was a ‘Rain Date’ event, the June 1, 2016 edition of this event was on schedule, and as a result, much better attended. The weather was picture perfect, not too hot, and not too cold, without a trace of rain in sight. There were approximately 30 vehicles lining downtown Metuchen from a 1930’s vintage Pontiac, at least two 50’s vintage Chevrolet Trucks, and others from the 60’s on up. The Trophies were awarded at 8:30 P.M., and by 9:00 most of the participants had left. The next Cruise Night date is July 6th, with a Rain Date of July 13th .
