While tonight’s Cruise Night was only the 2nd one for the year, it was also the season finale. Unfortunately, many stayed away from this evenings’ event, due to some very threatening skies, and a period spits and dribbles worth of rain, that was so slight an amount, that literally one large cotton bath towel fixed the problem. For the 20 or so brave souls who did come out, despite the early threatening skies, and scant dribbles of rain, a fun evening was on tap for them, complete with a live broadcast by New Jersey’s own WOLD Oldies Radio (107.9 & 95.1) , two of their on air staff, and Host Shawn Ryan. Our local EMS Squad also paid a visit to the Cruise Night. The rather unique awards were handed out around 8:30 p.m., and by 9:00 p.m., the event came to an end.
