While the participant turnout for Saturday was better than it has been in recent times, the Sunday turnout, was anything but noteworthy. The main culprit was probably the heavily overcast skies, and though rain was not forecast for Sunday, many may have decided not to take the Weatherman at his word. A rough guestimate would put the total vehicle count on the Show Field at maybe 50-60 vehicles, with the lower end of the Track from the Starting Line, up to the first Crosswalk, virtually empty, and the area from 3/4 Track on down, also empty. The Swap Meet on Sunday was almost completely devoid of major vendors normally present at this event in years past, excepting the display from Pypes, and an aluminum radiator manufacturer. According to some who had visited the Swap Meet on Saturday, some of the major vendors, such as Ames Performance Engineering, were present on Saturday, and due to the effect of the threatening weather diminishing the crowds for Sunday, left for greener pastures
