Though we missed going to the Reigelsville Pennsylvania Fall Roll Out Car Show in 2014, this year we made it, but not without incident, as has been the case with every long distance Show we attended this year. First my 1976 Trans Am gave me a major headache, on the way back from the Ocean City Maryland Show in May, then, due an oversight on my Son Martin’s part, we missed getting to the Hershey Pennsylvania Fall A.A.C.A. (Antique Auto Club of America) Meet, and finally, while we made it to Reigelsville, we wound up flatbedding my 1960 Plymouth back home after the Show, due to a Generator failure. Thankfully, incident one was covered by my Hagerty Roadside Assistance program, and a Warranty, incident two, well once again Hagerty to the rescue, with the problem solved by putting Gas in the car, oops, someone (that would be Martin), didn’t check the Tank before we left, and incident three, Hagerty to the rescue yet again, and problem solved with a Generator swap. Okay, so now you’ve heard more than you probably wanted to about things not about the Reigelsville Show, and here’s the Show in brief. The ‘Fall Rollout’ Car Show has been going on for 25 years, and draws folks from all over the central/northern half of New Jersey, plus parts of eastern Pennsylvania, and in fact, I met more people from around central New Jersey at this Show, than I had all season long at local Shows. The vehicle mix is quite good, with a number of Model ‘A’ Fords, and more than just a few other pre-WWII era, original vehicles on display. In addition to the car Show, there are a number of parts/memorabilia Vendors, food, drink, and snack Vendors, a really nice, all you can eat buffet breakfast for $8.00 at the nearby Masonic Lodge, a playground area for the little ones, and a live DJ. If you haven’t been to this Show yet, mark your Calendars for November 6, 2016, for the 26th annual Reigelsville Pennsylvania Fall Roll Out Car Show.
