37 FY RAY CAL BEST COLLOR

Ray’s 1937 Minotti Bodied Ford V8 Coupe

Ray Schuler sent over 1500 pictures of the Daytona Turkey Run which took place November 22-25, 2007 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Enjoy!!!

Out of the 5000 cars at the show, Ray’s personal top favorite was this cute little (3/4 Size!) ‘32 Deuce Ford Roadster with a built and dressed super-charged V-8 60 Flattie! The owners shown in the first picture are Jean and Kert Lancaster from Warner Robbins, GA. and he built the car himself. It was as cute as a bug and was perfect in every little detail. It had the smallest moon tank Ray has ever seen. It even had a Currie 9” Diff. The glass body comes without doors, and Kert even made 2 steel doors for it.

Rays pick as the 2nd nicest rod at the show is this awesome steel 36 Ford radical rod class 3 window coupe. It was all home built by Bear Ziegler from Tampa, Florida. Ray met and bought a 31 Ford Coupe from him at the Daytona Turkey Run in 2004 and it was just as well built.
