“Forty Ford Day” for 31 years!   On the morning of June 22, over 160 Forty Fords, of every model you can imagine, started gathering at La Palma Park in Anaheim, CA.  Club members guided the hot rods into position with Forties on one side of the park and the rest of the cars on the other side.  Along with the Forties, all pre-’68 makes and models are welcome.  The total car count was over 300.  Goody Bags were given to the first 250 participants and they included an event T-shirt.  For those early risers, the club had a booth of baked goodies and at lunch they have a great hot dog & hamburger barbeque.  The Forties came from as far away as San Jose, CA, San Diego, CA, and Oregon. An exhibit of 15-20 Whizzer motorbikes was very interesting. Forties Limited proudly supports Children’s Hospital of Orange County and donates money from the 50/50, the Bake Sale and Barbeque.

Thanks for the Show!

I wonder if Hugh & Lynda Tietsworth get a lot of bees around their very bright yellow Tudor Sedan?

Jim Cryar of Riverside started with a stunning ’40 Ford Woody. He then had artist Dave Whittle to add the Japanese wave graphic. Nice job!

The hottest ’40 of the show was driven in from Echo Park, CA. by John Stone. The craftsmanship and creativity that went into his ’40 Ford Pickup is amazing. You have to see it to believe it!
