Aug 26, 2008 Pleasanton, Ca. was the site of the GoodGuys Western Nationals Aug. 22nd to 24th and it is a perfect place to have it. The fair grounds are spacious with many trees for shade. July 11, 2008 These Elks were very friendly. The local Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Elks needed some Hot Rods to show off to visiting out of state Elks. Art Tocco was the “Elk in charge”. Right on the start of the trip I lost my front brakes, so I had to drive real careful all thru Nevada, Arizona and Utah. But, I made it OK.
