Description:
Late 80’s Ford small block 302 overhauled and bored 30 over with a cam just a step up from factory. Mustang style headers and a 650 Holley carb. Mounted to a rebuilt C4 transmission with no stall converter. They have just under 30,000 miles driven. I put it in storage about 6 years ago completely out of the weather on concrete and each fall I assured that enough antifreeze was there. About 2 weeks ago I purchased new plugs, plug wires, distributor, alternator, rebuilt the carburetor and an oil change. Within a couple hours it was running just fine from a new supply of fuel not in the gas tank. If it’s sales, I will pull them out together, completely clean it and degrease it then I’ll use the color or color combo to repaint it and then a couple coats of high temp clear. The valve covers are plain and if the winner wishes that I airbrush something on them I will. Then I’ll create the both still buttoned together and deliver it to FedEx, ups or such. The winner will have to pay for the shipping. Once you receive it I’ll gladly give you a 2 week window for buyer’s remorse and ship it back to me. I’ll return the entire purchase price. You would have to cover the shipping back to me though. My brother is a Master mechanic and has been for 16 years. He will be removing it from my truck. I’ve got a very short video of the engine running perfectly fine to me but of course dust has covered the engine and the engine bay but when you get it, it’ll look new but with around 28,500 miles on it. I do recommend using at least a 373 gear ratio so the transmission pairs well with the rear tire. I believe that the bid should start at $3,000 OBO with the buyer covering the shipping Late 80’s Ford small block 302 overhauled and bored 30 over with a cam just a step up from factory.
