This 1965 Cadillac Deville convertible has a super-smooth body that has all the right accessories and investments to really flaunt it. And when you add in a custom leather interior and plenty of big block power, you have a full package designed to cruise anywhere and turn heads everywhere.
All eighteen feet of this super trick Cadillac have been expertly smoothed and beautifully finished to glow like a gem in the sunlight. In 1965 the all-new Cadillac shape was arguably the best of the '60s from GM's top-of-the-line, and a few subtle mods enhance the sleek look without erasing the car's identity. The side moldings are gone, and so the car looks even longer. The super-tight panel gaps and flush-fitting fender skirts also really extend the sleekness of the profile. And those solid steel wheels have a premium creamy look, and their gloss just feels like a modern take on classic mouthier wheels. The icy green paint accentuates the sharp creases in the sheet metal by changing the hue as it moves over the bodywork. And the chrome details match the paint's attractive radiance. So while the brightwork details are often the sole shining star on other Caddys, everything from the bumpers to the tailfin trim just really complements the full shining style of this custom drop-top.
The black convertible top looks great against the green, and if you like the way this looks, then you'll love the inside. The tasteful custom interior capitalizes on the Cadillac's elegance and ties it together with the cool green exterior. The seats follow a classic pattern, but they've been wrapped in two-tone leather and door panels were created to match. All the Cadillac style and options remain, including a power seat, a tilt/telescope steering column, and plenty of brightwork trim. The original AM radio is in the dash for a nice display, but a custom like this really needs upgraded driving music. That's why there's an AM/FM/CD stereo system hidden in the glove box. And two features you're going to love are the power windows and the power convertible top. It means you even have to leave the driver's seat to fully open this one up to the world.
Cadillacs were known for big V8s back in the day, but while they were upgrading this one, they also went with better big block power. This 454 cubic-inch motor has some nice polished components, but more importantly, it loves performance upgrades. So this one has an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. You'll also spot features like dual batteries, an updated radiator, and a newer brake booster that are all about a solid driving package. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is an ideal pairing that's stout and smooth. Plus, you have power steering, power brakes, and upgraded drilled & slotted front discs for an all-around great cruiser.
This is the awesome custom Cadillac that just begs to be shown off. So if you want all eyes on your tomorrow, you need to call today!
