This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS tribute has an upgraded small block, an overdrive transmission, and a very cool and coordinated color combo inside and out. It all makes for an iconic muscle car presentation with a great driver at its heart.
This aggressive black was an upgrade later in life. It's a quality application where the deep gloss not only sets a nice performance tone, but it also loves to show off the well-done sheet metal. This is built with some terrific Z/28 style, like the wide air dam up front, full-width spoiler, and the white racing stripes are painted on for a timelessly attractive contrast. And we all love the look of the classic split bumper RS front end. This is upgraded for a more powerful look, including the extra-tall cowl hood, bright dual exhaust tips, and a set of 17 inch Torq Thrust alloys. And while this one is certainly aggressive, it also is elegant. The shine of the chrome bumper and the taut black vinyl roof show off a thoughtful style.
If you liked the way the white stripes looked against the black paint on the outside, then you're going to love the custom two-tone interior. The way the two colors intertwine on the seats and side panels almost looks like a tuxedo. And it's nicely detailed with the white piping on the seats and the Chevy bow ties embossed in the doors. More than just stylish, this was built with the driver in mind. You have classic pieces like the dual-spoke steering wheel that gives a good view of the wraparound gauge panel. And there are also upgrades like better bolstering on the front bucket seats and a bright B&M shifter in the center console.
Under the hood is V8 power with all the right flair. The tidy black engine bay funnels your attention to the bold orange block in the middle. And this has some nice Z-car kinds of details, like the classic air grabber w/callout and the finned valve covers w/racing flags. But it doesn't take much to also see that this is an upgraded powerhouse. This 350 cubic-inch powerplant has an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, long tube headers, and a rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes connected to Raptor mufflers. As you look underneath you can spot some solid upgrades like subframe connectors, a rear sway bar, and grippy ZR-rated tires. So you have a good performance setup. But this wants to be a fine all-around driver. That's why you also have power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
A coordinated look, upgraded heart, and a great all-around driving attitude make this Z/28 RS tribute quite a striking total package. So don't miss out, call today!
