Description:
INTRODUCTION: Wow factor! This remarkable Chevelle is a no compromise build blending a show quality presentation with serious street performance. From its supercharged LS3, to its upgraded pro touring suspension, the striking color, and its thoughtfully designed interior, every detail has been carefully executed. This is not just a restored classic, it's a fully reimagined muscle machine built to impress both at a standstill and on the open road.
EXTERIOR: I'm a huge fan of this Fathom Blue paint. It has been neatly applied with great attention to detail and has a nice consistent metallic flake throughout to give it a little more sparkle (but not gaudy at all). The paint finish is highly reflective and smooth to the touch. The SS stripes are also painted on and smooth to the touch as well. Looking down the side of the laser straight body is satisfying with all its smooth contours and sharp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned with good gaps that are well above average. The doors close very easily with minimal effort. All the bright work including optional wheel well moldings are nice and straight with a good quality shine. The front of the car is just tough looking with its blacked out SS grille, bulged cowl hood, and hood pins rounding off the bad boy look. Upgraded halogen headlights are much appreciated. The new tail light assemblies look great alongside the blacked out SS tail panel. New 454 SS emblems proudly adorn the front fenders. All the glass is nice and clear. Take a good look at the picture perfect stance, that's part of the reason this car really stands out from the others. It's sitting pretty on a gorgeous set of 10 spoke American racing wheels with a polished lip. They are wrapped in Nitto performance radial tires that are size 275/30/ZR20 up front and size 275/40ZR20 in the rear.
INTERIOR: I think this is one of the highlights of this car! It has a full custom TMI interior with a very sporty, modern feel that perfectly matches the performance attitude of this vehicle. The custom bucket seats front and rear are separated by a front console and a matching rear mini console with cup holders. The molded door panels tie in nicely and have practical armrests. It is all upholstered in black accented with blue stitching and blue stripes that tie the whole interior together beautifully. The dash is equipped with a set of blue lit Dakota Digital VHX gauges, a tilt column, and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. Down on the floor is fresh carpet with sound deadener underneath to help improve quietness in the cabin. It also features a sweet short throw shifter for precise gear changes, a modern drive by wire gas pedal, and convenient 12-volt receptacles tucked neatly under the dash. This interior doesn't just look good sitting still, it was thoughtfully built for comfort, function, and spirited driving.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the heart is a ferocious supercharged 6.2 liter LS3 engine generating about 600 ground pounding horsepower. It has been highly upgraded including Holly EFI, forged pistons, LS9 cam, blow off valve, and of course the V-1 Pro Charger. A serpentine front runner system keeps the presentation nice and clean as does the coordinating blue paints on top of the intake. A gorgeous set of stainless steel headers flanks both sides of the engine. The huge Be-Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps the power plant running nice and cool. It is equipped with power brakes and a hydraulic clutch. The original cowl tag is still in place. The underside of the steel cowl hood, fender wells, and firewall are all neatly painted similar to the exterior.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick and glossy. It is complete with fresh weatherstrip and decal. Inside the trunk has been neatly customized with upholstered boxed side panels that match the interior design, right down to the blue stitching accents. The floor is carpeted, giving it a clean and upscale presentation. What you don't see is a relocated battery, stereo amplifiers, and additional wiring hidden behind the panels. All the panels are quickly removable for easy accessibility.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is purpose built for the person who truly loves to drive. It's upgraded with a complete Ridetech suspension system designed to dramatically improve handling, stability, and road feel. Up front features tubular control arms, a beefier sway bar, and coilover adjustable gas shocks. Out back is a performance four-link setup with tubular control arms, coilovers, and an additional sway bar to keep it planted through the corners. The upgraded Wilwood brake system inspires confidence with drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels, including massive 6-piston front calipers. It even has a modern electric e-brake system. The fuel system has been replaced and upgraded to support the fuel-injected motor. A great sounding stainless exhaust system with an X-pipe runs all the way out the back through chrome SS tips, giving this car a deep muscle tone without being obnoxious. Looking up at the engine you'll spot an aluminum Holley oil pan, high torque starter, and a Tremec 6-speed manual trans sending power to a 12-bolt rear end equipped with a Detroit Locker posi and 3.73 gears. The floors are clean, solid metal, and the underside is very tidy providing a well sorted appearance throughout. This isn't some over restored trailer queen underneath- it's built with real driving intentions!

CONCLUSION: From top to bottom, this pro touring Chevelle delivers the complete package! With its supercharged drivetrain, upgraded suspension, and awesome attention to detail throughout, it stands as a true driver's car with a showqua
