This 1946 Chevrolet Stylemaster has the cool two-tone look of a thoughtful build. And with an overdrive transmission, feature-filled A/C interior, V8 power, and more, it lives up to this impression of a terrific classic cruiser.

The sweeping fenders and rounded rear end of the Chevy's sheet metal were made for this style of two tones of blue metallic paint. It has a modern shine that highlights the vintage curves, and the darker blue really draws attention to details - like how the fender line is incorporated into the doors. This one seems to know of to be a good classic while also announcing it's a custom cruiser. That's why you have a nice shine on the bumpers and trim, as well as the upgraded Cragar SS wheels and dual exhaust tips. People may admire the classic hood ornament, many of the other details were deleted - including the door handles - so you can really see the purity in the design. And while this has a terrific custom style, there's also something special about owning a '46. It has its styling rooted in pre-WWII America because this was one of the first cars to be sold in peacetime. So it's a nice story you get to tell about its true history while everyone is admiring its custom spirit.

Pop the remote door openers to reveal even more of the custom upgrades. You can instantly see this one was built for modern driving thanks to a thoroughly updated interior. The gray has a tasteful and uniform style on the doors, carpeting, and upholstery. The seating is done with maximum comfort in mind with high-back bucket sets up front with a center console in-between. Yours even power adjusts to the ideal driving position. You have all the best features like power windows, cup holders, a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo, upgraded speakers, and R134a air conditioning. The wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel, tilt column, and Lokar floor shifter give you a modern driving feeling, but the art deco dash with classic gauges still reminds you this is a vintage Chevy.

The engine bay was built for showing off as much as the rest of this car. That means a tidy and polished presentation with extra thought in the details. And when you look beyond the style, you'll see the substance of a 350 cubic-inch V8 built with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock performer intake, and a nice dual exhaust. The beautiful motor is also a strong runner, and so they paired it to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. That way it's easy to enjoy near or far. In fact, you have great all-around driving features like an upgraded independent suspension, power steering, power brakes, and the grip of wide BF Goodrich T/As.

Complete with restoration photos, this 1946 Chevy certainly lives up to the style part of its Stylemaster name. It's the handsome custom classic that's quite comfortable at shows or on the road. So if you're looking for an all-around terrific vintage coupe, call today!
