Description:
With the right custom style and an affordable price, this 1987 GMC C1500 Sierra Classic is instantly attractive. And when you dig a little deeper, you're going to discover a pickup with useful features like a numbers-matching fuel-injected V8 and an overdrive transmission. It makes for an irresistibly attractive and useful total package.
We like the attitude this one has. The upgrades like a billet grille, flush rear roll pan, and side dual exhaust tips give this one the intimidation factor you love. Plus, the 20-inch Riddler wheels have a larger rear set for quite an aggressive stance. It's the kind of style where it has earned its upgrade to matte black. And while the color is intended to be mean, it has a uniform application and smoothness that also shows off a nice level of quality. But nothing here is ever going to get in the way of a pickup doing real chores, and so the bed is still just as handy and job-ready as when this GMC was new.
While the exterior is intimidating, the interior goes for vintage style. The dash, door panels, and other fundamentals look clean. The seat cover looks particularly fresh from a more recent investment. There are nice features, like power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a sliding rear window. This was even born an air conditioning truck. It was converted to R134a, but the blower motor will at least need servicing before this is cold again. The radio was even upgraded to an AM/FM/CD stereo unit for upgraded driving music. And we especially like the tilt column on these GMCs because it goes with the wraparound dash panel to feel almost like a sports car.
The engine is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8, and it has a clean style like the rest of this truck. Plus, factory fuel injection makes it great in modern times. But they also couldn't resist giving this mean black machine some added attitude under the hood, so you have an upgraded intake and headers feeding the dual exhaust. Even with the nice tune from the Flowmaster mufflers, this GMC keeps its sensibilities. So it has a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive and dual fuel tanks for extended journeys. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs up front, and wide modern tires afforded by wheel upgrade, and this is a fine all-around driver.
It feels like the GMC follows a path of both style and substance, and so you know this path should lead back to your garage. Call today!!!
