Description:
If all you need is a cool cruising drop-top 4x4, then we suggest you look elsewhere. Because while every Jeep is ready to hit the trail, it takes a very special one like this 2003 Jeep Wrangler X rock crawler to conquer anything in its path.

It's obvious from every angle that this is a custom build made to traverse territories that have never seen a vehicle before. More than just the massive ground clearance, the entire front fender section has been re-tubbed to carry enough suspension travel to overcome boulders. The rear fenders also have less restriction, so all four wheels can handle separate elevations with ease. The red paint has a nice glossy style, but of course, it's not going to stop you from having fun. But that's also why there's a ton of added robustness all coordinating in black. Up front there's a Smittybilt tubular steel bumper that protects the Smittybilt XRC winch with Bubba rope. The sides show a reinforced windshield mount, steel rockers w/side steps, and Falken Wildpeak M/T tires. The rear has tubular steel bumpers and your license plate over the trailer hitch. And for that added bit of fun and function, there's even a cooler carrier on the rear. And when the sun sets, the Pro-Comp headlights, pod lights, and 50-inch light bar can turn night into day.

While the exterior has serious investments in ruggedness, it's nice to see the interior keeps the right comforts of a Jeep from this millennium. After all, the Wranglers of this era come with great features like cold-blowing factory air conditioning, a full roll cage, tilt steering column, power steering, dual airbags, a cup holder center console, five-speed, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a proper stereo system - now upgraded to an AM/FM/CD unit with Bluetooth. There is a full soft top and doors, but the upgraded neoprene seat covers and liner paint on the floor make it even better to be open to the world. Of course, if you're going to truly use this crawler to the fullest (and you really should be,) the toggle switches on top of the dash for the air locker diffs will really be your favorite feature.

Under the hood is Jeep's hardy 4.0-liter inline-six, and this comes from the era of factory fuel injection. While this is an actual mileage machine, we have a receipt documenting the reconditioned motor installed in 2017. That means you have a younger powerhouse with a reputation for dependability. That kind of stout heart is what you want to go with the full 4x4 suspension upgrades. As you look underneath, you'll spot the Metalcloak Lock-and-Load long arm kit, Metalcloak armor, JK axles, Moog ball joints, Yukon diff covers, Driveshaft Specialties, driveshafts, Carbon Off Road Chromoly axle shafts, Timken front bearings, and a slip yoke eliminator kit.

The sale comes with some build receipts and maintenance records. There have been big investments to remind you that there's only one name in 4x4... Jeep. So if you want no boundaries, don't miss this custom crawler. Call today!!!
