A true garage find, this beautiful and Classic Mercedes hard/soft top convertible sat nearly untouched since about 2000. This car is for the person who wants a reliable, turnkey classic that can be driven and enjoyed without worry because (#1) it has truly escaped the ravages of time and because (#2) it has already been checked over and all necessary maintenance has been done in the last year.

Highlights:
* has 4.5 liter V8 overhead cam & double timing chain
* has No Rust - always garage kept and professionally repainted top to bottom in 2018
* SUPER LOW MILES - just 65k actual miles, verified by service docs back to late 90s
* I've spent about $5,500 in 2018 going over and improving all major systems, fuel, spark, suspension, exterior, interior. Extensive service records included
> Rebuilt original fuel injectors plus new seats and new fuel filter
> Electrical tune up including new cap, rotor, coil and spark plugs. Original wires deliver spark as they should and still have numbered tags on both ends from the factory
> Has genuine vintage 1978 Nardi steering wheel, a period correct upgrade. I also have the original steering wheel and will gladly keep the Nardi if you dont want it and give you a $500 discount
> New battery
> New A.C. compressor, air blows cold!
> Replaced seat backs with original, matching MB tex seat backs, all chrome seat trim looks nice
> Original carpet looks fantastic, very little wear at all!
> Original sun visors in great shape, not all deformed as is common with Benz of this vintage. Do not have broken visor clips either, as is also common with similar cars
> New sway bar links
> Original bundt cake wheels cleaned and powdercoated in a deep gray color, looks great with dark blue paint
> New tires over $500 with warranty
> Silver and bright blue pinstripes applied to recreate how original dealer pinstripes appeared
> Original tool kit, Jack and road flare
* Has genuine Mercedes 560SL front air dam for a sharper appearance
* Original factory hard top, cleaned up and repainted, no rust underneath hard top
* Soft top is in good condition, was replaced around 2000, made from original 3 ply German Sonnenland material, goes up and down easily and seals nicely.
* New burled walnut wood shift knob
* New buried walnut wood console box, very rare and beautiful
* Interior in excellent shape with no rips or tears
* Original AM/FM stereo sounds quite good
* Power windows and antenna work
* All gauges work on the dash, including the speedo, tach, odometer, oil pressure, temperature, fuel gauge and climate control, clock currently not running
* Good weatherstripping on original hard top, A pillars, etc
* Includes stand for hard top
The large 4.5 liter Overhead Cam V8 with double timing chain has much higher value than the 380SL which had a smaller engine and single timing chain. This car is valued by Hagerty at $37,400 in concourse condition, at $26,200 in excellent condition, and $15,000 in good condition. This car is easily excellent condition,
