hich is also called Golden Green Iridescent. The car has the original 288 cu.in. straight eight engine except for a new cylinder head. NO rust or rotted wood! The wood is all original as well as the interior. This car had only 26,600 miles on it when I purchased it in 1994. Twenty five years later, it has 48,300 miles now
. Over the years, I have replaced the transmission (three speed manual), the radiator, complete brake system, clutch, water pump and weather seals (2018). In the last year I have replaced the muffler, battery, voltage regulator and had the generator rebuilt
. An electric fuel pump supplements the engine driven fuel pump and there is a hidden electric radiator fan. The Fulton sun shield is a correct accessory. The interior is in excellent shape considering its age. The back seat folds flat to extend the cargo area. The radio has been modified to play both AM and FM channels.
The steering wheel electric fan conveys as well as the traffic light prism. The seat belts are a Studebaker - Packard item. All instruments work except for the clock. No cracked or broken windows.
The tires are wide white wall radials. Repair and shop manuals, some extra parts, Owners Manual and other Packard items convey. I am the fourth owner of this well maintained and easy to drive
Woodie. Packard made just under 3,900 of these Station Sedans between 1948 and 1950. With its original wood and interior, this has to be one of the best survivors around.
