1975 Porsche 911S Targa
1975 Porsche 911S Targa 4-speed has remained true to its sporting roots for over 47 years.
The 911S nomenclature and the Targa body style were first introduced in 1966 and Targa design allows for full-width roof panel removal. The 911S has a stainless steel "rollbar" featured so prominently does offer an extra layer of protection. This version of the "S" was in production from 1974 until 1977.
The 911S interior with the rear jump seat is in excellent condition. The buckets seats have been recovered and are clean of any defects as are the door panels, and dash pad. The center dash speaker grill is cracked which is very common and easy to replace. The 911 comes with a full array of gauges including fuel, oil level, oil temp, tachometer, speedometer, clock and a trip odometer. All gauges work properly as does the lighting. The 911 has many creature features such as side window defroster vents, heating and ventilation, and rear window defogger. The 911 is mechanically in excellent condition. There is no sign of corrosion or crash damage. Even the various components of rubber trim still show well. The newer Gemini metallic (335) paint is outstanding! The paint has a mirror shine...Stunning.
