Garage Kept Motors is proud to feature for sale in our showroom 1967 Shelby Cobra Everett Morrison Replica. Everett Morisson is highly acclaimed producer of Cobra replicas and has been building these cars since the late 60's. These cars not only are some of the most accurate representations of the original cars visually, they are some of the best engineered cars as well featuring modern chassis upgrades giving these 60's era cars more modern structural and handling technology. The car featured here was built in 1993 and has only 8000 miles on the odometer. This car has been extremely well cared for and presents in outstanding condition and is nearly show ready.
The fiberglass body has been painted black with metallic maroon rally stripes. The finish has been polished to a high gloss shine and while there are some minor swirl polish scratches and a few minor chips the finish presents very well for a 30-year-old paint job. The inserts on the knock off rims are painted to match the rally stripe and really are a nice custom touch. The chrome and related stainless steel trim have been well maintained and present with a rich luster.
Inside the black interior is very clean and extremely well kept. The seats upholstery, door panels and dash material are free of any rips or tears, showing little if any wear. The carpet is likewise clean with no stains and presenting with little if any wear. Seat belts are wide web racing lap belts, and a very accurate Shelby wood racing steering wheel reminds you that you are driving a legend. Engine vitals are monitored by a set of Stewart Warner gauges and include, oil temp, water temp, oil pressure and amperes. Inside the glovebox sits an Alpine AM/FM CD player pushing plenty of power at 50W per channel to blast "Hey Little Cobra" over the speakers.
Under the hood is clean and well detailed and show ready for you to pull in and pop the hood. And why wouldn't you pop the hood to show off that 427 side oiler 427 V8 Ford powerplant. This engine is topped with two Holley carburetors, with a full MSD ignition. The exhaust flows throw headers into large side pipes that will let your neighbors know every time you roll this beast out! A big radiator with dual electric fans keeps this hot set up running cool.
Underneath the round tube chassis features front tubular control arms with coil over shocks and heavy duty stabilizer bar and outback tubular control arms and Panhard bar with coil over shocks keep the big tires planted to the pavement. Other features include driveshaft safety loop, removeable transmission crossmember, four-wheel power disc brakes and power rack and pinion steering. Power is transferred through a 4-speed manual back to a Ford 9" rear end stuffed with 3.73 gears. Mickey Thompson Sport Radial tires keep this Cobra firmly planted in the curves and off the line with massive P295/50R15 Rear tires and 235/60R15 front tires.
Running this Cobra through the gears is exhilarating! The side pipe exhaust exits right about at the same position as your ears which is ideal for listening to the beautiful music this 427 Ford V8 blasts as you cruise in this fabulous sports car. This is a fun car to straighten some curvy roads with for sure. Please call if you are interested in the vehicle or send us an email if you have specific questions.
