Studebaker has something new and revolutionary for 1959! Introducing new model called the "Lark" a smaller more economical car. The car could still seat six people comfortably and hold a surprising amount of luggage. From its introduction in early 1959 until 1962, the Lark was a product of the Studebaker - Packard Corporation. The Lark was the first car of its size to offer a V8 engine. Engineering enhancements were the big news as the Lark received a performance boost. Mated to an automatic transmission made this a formable road car.
