      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/camaro/2002/listing/238191</link>
<description>This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS is the kind of car Detroit doesn't build anymore-and the kind enthusiasts still chase. Sold new in Oklahoma and later cruising Kansas and Illinois, this fourth-gen SS shows just 60k miles and wears its Bright Rally Red paint like a warning label. Final-year cars hit different, and this one carries that end-of-an-era energy hard.

Under the hood lives the legendary 5.7L LS1 V8, factory-rated at 335 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 4-speed automatic and a Torsen limited-slip putting power down the right way. It's breathing through an SLP cat-back exhaust, so it doesn't just move fast-it sounds pissed doing it. Recent maintenance since 2021 includes fresh fluids, intake manifold and valley pan gaskets, fuel filter, oil pressure sender, plugs, and wires. It's been kept ready, not parked and forgotten.

The SS Performance/Appearance Package brings the goods: hood scoop, SS rear spoiler, performance suspension with stiffer springs and bushings, revised shocks, and a larger front sway bar. It sits on 17" chrome SS wheels wrapped in 275/40 s, with four-wheel ABS disc brakes backing it up. Grip, stance, and stop-all accounted for.

Inside, it's clean and unapologetically early-2000s muscle. Neutral leather seats, power driver seat, cruise control, ice-cold A/C, and a Monsoon sound system upgraded with a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer head unit and later Keen Audio Level 2.5 speaker upgrades with tweeters. The factory radio is included if originality is your thing. LED upgrades throughout the interior and gauge cluster sharpen the cockpit without turning it tacky.

Visually, this SS has been dialed in with purpose. Smoked headlights and markers, smooth SS grille and emblem, black mesh hood vent, LED lighting upgrades across the board, and a short aluminum antenna clean up the lines. The sail panels, front bumper, and rockers were refinished in red, tightening the overall presentation.

This Camaro SS no fluff, no excuses-just a low-mile, final-year LS1 SS that looks right, sounds right, and still throws punches.

      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/camaro/2002/listing/237575</link>
<description>Though there is no exact definition of a Pony Car, much like some other things in life, we know it when we see it. One look at this enchanting Navy Blue Metallic 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible, and there is no mistaking it for anything but a tried-and-true late-model Pony Car. 2002 marked the final year for the Fourth Generation Camaro. This model stands out in particular thanks to it being just one of 533 convertibles made in this beautiful Navy Blue, along with having a mere 10,461 original miles on the odometer and the addition of its Y3F Sport Appearance Package, which includes revised front and rear fascias, rocker panel extensions, and a more pronounced rear spoiler to give it a uniquely racy look straight from the factory.

Inside, we find a comfortable black leather interior, highlighted by a supportive power-adjustable driver's seat, which sits in front of a two-spoke padded steering wheel with radio and HVAC thumb controls. An analog gauge cluster centers on a 7,000-rpm tach and a 150-mph speedometer, while the factory Monsoon stereo is included in the sale, this car has been upgraded with a trick Pioneer AM/FM/CD/AUX/Satellite touchscreen that also offers Bluetooth connectivity. A roomy center console armrest provides additional storage, and the center-mounted cup holder is actually useful in a car like this with an automatic transmission. The rear bucket seats don't offer much for full-sized adults, but they can be folded down to provide plenty of cargo space. Power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, air-conditioning, and airbags round out this Camaro's list of modern amenities.

Under that long, sleek hood, we find a fantastic, believed-original 5.7-liter aluminum-block, overhead-valve LS1 V-8. From the factory, this mighty mouse motor pumped out an underrated 310 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque. That power is then funneled through a numbers-matching 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission before heading out to the factory ten-bolt limited-slip rear end, where cruise-ready 3.23 gears wait to transfer those ponies to the pavement via a set of sixteen-inch, ten-spoke wheels shod in 245/50R-16 Goodyears ready to launch.

  HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Last Year 4th Gen
 • 10,461 Original Miles
 • Original Navy Blue Metallic Paint
 • 1 of 577 Navy Blue Convertibles

Riding on its factory-style suspension, this low-slung 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible is the ultimate expression of what a Pony Car should be. Powerful, enjoyable, fast, and eye-catching everywhere it goes. Drop the power top, hit the gas, and enjoy driving this car everywhere and anywhere. With less than 11,000 miles and still covered in its rare, original metallic paint, owning this car will feel almost like buying it right from the dealer at the turn of the century. There aren't many Pony Cars left, especially not like this one. So, if you see it the same way we do, then don't wait another second. Call today! <description>Though there is no exact definition of a Pony Car, much like some other things in life, we know it when we see it. One look at this Sebring Silver Metallic 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Supercharged SS Convertible, with its believed original paint and body panels, and there is no mistaking it for anything but a tried-and-true late-model Pony Car. 2002 marked the final year for the Fourth Generation Camaro. This one-owner model stands out in particular thanks to its mere 19,255 original miles on the odometer and the addition of a Vortech blower installed by the original selling dealership.

Inside, we find a clean, comfortable stock leather interior, highlighted by a supportive power-adjustable driver's seat, which sits in front of a four-spoke padded steering wheel with radio and cruise controls. An analog gauge cluster centers on a 7,000-rpm tach and a 150-mph speedometer, while the factory AM/FM/CD player uses push buttons to let the driver focus on the road ahead. A roomy center console armrest provides additional storage and a cup holder. The rear bucket seats don't offer much for full-sized adults, but they can be folded down to allow for plenty of cargo space. Power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, air-conditioning, airbags, and defeatable traction control round out this Camaro's list of modern amenities.

Under that long, sleek hood, we find a fantastic numbers-matching 5.7-liter aluminum block and heads overhead valve LS1 V-8, which has been upgraded with a Vortech centrifugal supercharger and Maxflow Power Cooler air-to-water intercooling system . From the factory, this mighty mouse motor pumped out an underrated 325 horsepower and 345 pound-feet of torque, but with that blower installed, those numbers should blow past the stock figures (pun intended). That massive power is then funneled through a numbers-matching Tremec T56 six-speed transmission before heading out to the factory ten-bolt rear end, where 3.42 gears wait to transfer those ponies to the pavement via a set of 17-inch, ten-spoke chrome wheels shod in 275/ZR-1 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires ready to launch.

  HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Last Year 4th Gen
 • 19,255 Original Miles
 • Believed Original Paint
 • Believed Original Panels
 • Original Window Sticker
 • Power Convertible Top
 • Numbers Matching LS1 V8
 • Vortech Blower

 • AM/FM/CD
 • Six Disc CD Changer

Drop the power top, hit the gas, and enjoy driving this car everywhere and anywhere. With less than 20,000 miles, its original window sticker, and important receipts confirming its dealer-installed supercharger, owning this car will feel almost like buying it right off the showroom floor at the turn of the century. <description>2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS 35th Anniversary Convertible

History is full of rivalries between two strong competitors like Coke vs. Pepsi, AT&amp;amp;T vs. MCI, Nike vs. Reebok, and Bill Gates vs. Steve Jobs. In almost every case, the competition and the drive to outdo a rival resulted in the production of superior products by both companies and benefited the consumer with high quality and lower prices. The rivalry between the Chevrolet Camaro and the Ford Mustang has run for more than a half a century with similar results. Both vehicles, rear-wheel-drive, 2 plus 2 American sports coupes began their battle for customers starting in the 1960s, and each has had its ups and downs. Except for a Camaro hiatus from 2003 to 2010, each year has brought a new model with features designed to surpass the competition. The seemingly inexhaustible attraction of inexpensive V8 horsepower, sports car road handling, and stylish good looks has permitted the classic American pony car civil war to continue well into the 21st century.

For consignment, a 35th anniversary car celebrating the Camaro SS and with a mere 23 actual miles on the odometer, this car is as new as they come. From the plastic on the seats to the still attached window sticker and SLP sticker you can't get any newer.

  Exterior
This car screams SLP and anniversary options with it all bathed in Bright Red. The front grille is slightly modified and has dual wide white racing stripes starting at the bottom of the front spoiler and moving towards the windshield where at the hood scoop it splits and fades into a checkered flag. The grille is slightly different, and an SS badge is neatly put in the very low center of said grille. Chevrolet is known for their rakish styling on the front glass, and this car is no exception with that windshield leaning way back in this design. On top is a nice canvas convertible, all clean and sporting a rear glass window. On the sides straight steel with well minded gaps creates the front and rear quarters, (badged with 35th anniversary badges BTW!). The wide stripes continue on the rear deck where there is a wide spoiler that is very low profile. 17" 10 spoke SS specific aluminum wheels are on all 4 corners. Dual exhaust peek out from under the body matching neoprene bumper. All paint is at the deep end of the pool and looks showroom perfect throughout.

  Interior
A swing of the sexy doors and we get loads of black molded smooth vinyl, integrated door pulls with a matching charcoal gray actuator, and plenty of power toggles to play with. Inside 2 tone gray leather high back buckets showing no wear and still having their assembly line plastic coverings wait for the passengers to sit down and enjoy the ride. A center console undulates by these buckets and houses the Hurst shifter, (another SLP option). Shoehorned in back are two more molded in two tone buckets with not a lot of legroom but they are there. A nice tonneau cover is provided for the top when in the down position. The center of the dash rises to the occasion with a premium sound system including AM/FM/CD, climate controls, top power switch and an ASR, (traction control), button. A beautifully and gracefully arched dash top in front of the driver has all the essential gauges and warnings should something go awry during your performance drive. Charcoal gray carpeting floods the floors and the steering wheel still is covered in its factory plastic.

  Drivetrain
The factory 346ci V8 has been warmed up by the folks at SLP to the tune of 345hp. It is fed by EFI and has a T56 6-speed manual transmission on the back. The rear axle is a 10-bolt 3.42 posi-traction setup. They don't get any cleaner than this.

  Undercarriage
Beautifully preserved with factory overspray still seen on floor pans and fuel tank. SLP performance exhaust is now on, and this car has a fab tone when fired up. Handling is courtesy front independent Macpherson struts with coil springs and rear is torque arm with coil springs. Power disc brakes are on all 4 corners.

  Drive-Ability
With the odometer hanging at a scant 23 miles, we didn't dare drive this beauty. But rest assured, sitting in it one can take in the new car smell and envision what it was like to proudly drive one off the dealership lot back in 2002.

A dual advantage to this particular car with its anniversary edition bling and the extra performance of the SLP package we have a very hot car with an unassuming look and the ability to eat up cars that look way more aggressive. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

      <description>2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS 35th Anniversary Convertible

History is full of rivalries between two strong competitors like Coke vs. Pepsi, AT&amp;amp;T vs. MCI, Nike vs. Reebok, and Bill Gates vs. Steve Jobs. In almost every case, the competition and the drive to outdo a rival resulted in the production of superior products by both companies and benefited the consumer with high quality and lower prices. The seemingly inexhaustible attraction of inexpensive V8 horsepower, sports car road handling, and stylish good looks has permitted the classic American pony car civil war to continue well into the 21st century.

For consignment, a 35th anniversary car celebrating the Camaro SS and with SLP engineering spices thrown in for extra power and looks, and a LOT of it! Our consignor purchased this car new in May of 2002 and opted to have the SLP center mount exhaust added on along with the heavy duty Auburn posi unit and has spent its life being cared for and safely tucked away. Accumulating only 5,309 verified actual miles in its life and still having its window sticker and all SLP literature, build sheet and all paperwork from new as well as the original 2nd set of keys that succumbed to a garage fire, thankfully the car was stored elsewhere at the time. Ready to be shown and enjoyed or tucked away as an appreciating investment, regardless of your choice, this car fits both bills perfectly.

The wide stripes continue on the rear deck where there is a SS specific wide spoiler that is very low profile. 17" 10 spoke SS specific aluminum wheels are on all 4 corners. Dual exhaust peek out from under the center of the body matching neoprene bumper. All paint is at the deep end of the pool and looks showroom perfect throughout.

  Interior
A swing of the sexy doors and we get loads of Ebony molded smooth vinyl, integrated door pulls with a matching charcoal gray actuator and plenty of power toggles to play with. Inside 2 tone gray leather high back buckets showing slight wear that comes from age and very little use have the SS 35th Anniversary logo embroidered into the headrests and on the lighter inserts we see nothing but clean supple leather. A center console undulates by these buckets and houses the shifter for the automatic transmission. Shoehorned in back are two more molded in two tone buckets with not a lot of legroom but they are there. The center of the dash rises to the occasion with a premium sound system including AM/FM/CD (an optional 12-disc CD changer is mounted in the hatch area), climate controls, and an ASR, (traction control), button. A beautifully and gracefully arched dash top in front of the driver has all the essential gauges and warnings should something go awry during your performance drive. Charcoal gray carpeting floods the floors and is protected by color matching carpeted mats.

  Drivetrain
The factory 346ci 5.7 Liter LS1 V8 sits between the fenders and is looking as good as the day it was installed. It is fed by EFI and has a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission on the back. The rear axle is a 10-bolt 3.42 with the optional Auburn posi-traction setup. All stock and just the way the folks at the Quebec plant and SLP intended.

  Undercarriage
Beautifully preserved with factory overspray still seen on floor pans and fuel tank. The factory dual to single to dual exhaust is on and looking just fab with its SLP center mount outlet. Handling is courtesy of front independent Macpherson struts and rear is torque arm with coil springs. Power disc brakes are on all 4 corners.

  Drive-Ability
A quick starter and off to the test track. Here it performed well in all facets with endless acceleration, bias free braking and wonderful handling. All functions were performing as they should on this SS SLP Camaro, and we kept our drive short so as to not rack up too many miles on this example.

A dual advantage to this particular car with its anniversary edition bling and the extra performance of the SLP package we have a car that not only looks high performance but also fits the bill when you push the accelerator floorward. Street Legal Performance!
