      <title>1971 Chevrolet Chevelle</title>
      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/chevelle/1971/listing/255517</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: This car is absolutely incredible! I say that about a lot of cars, but this one takes it to another level. The mirror finish black with white stripes and interior along with the big chrome wheels and redline tires, makes for a stunning combination. It was recently given a body off frame, rotisserie restoration.

EXTERIOR: It has an aggressive stance with an upscale look that's guaranteed to turn heads. Looking closer, the quality is just as impressive. The California body is laser beam straight with outstanding panel fit, and the doors shut like new. There isn't a pimple, dimple, or ripple to be found. The paint is polished like glass- I swear you could read a phone book in its reflection. The white SS stripes are painted on and smooth to the touch, and even the door jambs are finished to the same slick, glossy standard. The weatherstrips, window seals, and vinyl top have all been replaced, while the tinted glass adds to the sleek appearance. It appears that most, if not all, of the chrome and trim has been replaced or restored. A neatly integrated front spoiler gives it a subtle performance look, and the staggered polished wheels really complete the package. It rides on what appear to be 18 inch wheels up front and 20 inch wheels in back, wrapped in performance tires with custom redlines that perfectly complement the car's appearance.

INTERIOR: The white interior really pops against the black exterior! The seats have been recushioned and reupholstered, and they're finished with new headrests. The door panels, window cranks, handles, armrests, and ashtrays have been replaced. The dash has been completely restored and tastefully upgraded with modern gauges, electronic slide Vintage Air controls, and a retro style stereo. Up above, the crisp white headliner and sun visors look excellent, complemented by a new rearview mirror and a working dome light. Down below, it features a reproduction center console, fresh, fresh carpet, embroidered Chevelle floor mats, and a tilt steering column topped with a great looking Billet Specialties steering wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is purposefully upgraded around a completely rebuilt 396 V8, bored .030 over for added performance. It features a high-rise aluminum intake, dual-feed Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, and a set of coated headers for improved power and reliability. The front of the engine is outfitted with a serpentine belt system using billet brackets and pulleys, along with polished air conditioning compressor and alternator. It also has power steering and power brakes for effortless driving. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps temperatures in check, while tasteful finishing touches like tall aluminum valve covers and billet hood hinges give the engine bay a clean appearance.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the finish is just as glossy as the black exterior. A new weatherstrip provides a tight seal. Inside, the metal is exceptionally clean and finished with the correct spatter paint. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, giving the engine a less cluttered look.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame and placed on a rotisserie, allowing the clean California sheet metal to be prepped and finished in glossy black. The suspension was completely rebuilt with several performance upgrades. Up front are tubular upper and lower control arms, a larger sway bar, and all new springs, shocks, bushings, and ball joints. In back, it features heavy duty lower control arms, adjustable upper control arms, a larger rear sway bar, and new shocks for improved handling. The entire brake system has been replaced and upgraded with four wheel disc brakes, along with a new emergency brake assembly, brake lines, and hoses. A stainless steel dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers delivers a deep, aggressive sound. The entire fuel system has also been replaced. Looking up at the drivetrain, you'll find an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter on the engine, a Turbo 400 automatic transmission fitted with a TCI finned aluminum extra capacity pan, a rebuilt driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: Warning: If you don't like compliments or attention, don't buy this car! Everywhere it goes, people are going to notice. Whether you're filling up at the gas station, pulling into a local cruise night, or parking at an ice cream shop, this Chevelle is going to steal the spotlight. If that's the kind of ownership experience you're after, this one delivers in a big way.

      <title>1971 Chevrolet Chevelle</title>
      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/chevelle/1971/listing/254196</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: This is not your average Chevelle. It is a professionally built, rotisserie restored muscle machine that was engineered with the same attention to detail underneath as it received on top. The combination of stunning Burnt Orange Metallic paint, a 707+ horsepower 496 big block, race quality suspension, and overdrive transmission make this one of the most complete and impressive Chevelles we've had the privilege of offering. It has the looks to win trophies, the power to humble modern performance cars, and the drivability to enjoy on the highway.

EXTERIOR: The owner told me the paint was literally flawless, I hear that all the time and usually take it with a grain of salt. This may be one of those rare occasions where it's actually true! After my inspection of the paint, I could not find a single flaw. Every square inch of the body is laser straight, and all of the gaps are square and flush. The Burnt Orange Metallic paint is polished like glass, with the metallic laid out evenly from panel to panel. I found no chips, cracks, fish eyes, touch-ups, or imperfections. The SS stripes are properly applied and smooth to the touch. The cowl induction hood features a functional flapper door, adding to the aggressive muscle car appearance. The trim, moldings, grille, lenses, weatherstrips, and seals have all been replaced. The new smoked glass gives it a custom touch, while LED halo headlights and LED taillights modernize visibility. Completing the stance is a set of Rocket Racing Attack semi-forged wheels measuring 18x9 up front and 18x10 in back, wrapped in Nitto G2 performance tires.

INTERIOR: The interior has been completely restored and thoughtfully upgraded for both comfort and style. The Procar sport bucket seats provide excellent support and are equipped with racing seat belts to keep you firmly planted in place. Front and rear seats are upholstered in classic houndstooth material, giving the cabin a vintage muscle car look. Fresh carpet covers the floor and is complemented by embroidered floor mats. Looking around, you'll find new reproduction door panels, armrests, window cranks, and handles. Up above, a new headliner and rearview mirror complete the fresh appearance. What you don't see is the all new Painless wiring system. The dashboard has been completely renewed with a new dash pad and instrument panel. Custom gauges provide accurate monitoring while blending nicely with the overall theme, less than 2,500 miles are on the odometer since the build. A retro style stereo fits neatly in the factory location and in front of the driver is a polished wood rim steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, and the coolest custom pedals I've seen near the floor. The center console houses a B&amp;amp;M ratchet shifter, adding both performance appeal and a sporty feel to the cockpit.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Lift the hood and you'll find a beautifully detailed engine bay that blends performance with presentation. The performance built 496 has forged crank, rods and pistons, 10.6:1 compression, roller cam and rockers, aluminum AFR heads, Edelbrock intake, custom built Pro Systems 1,000 cfm carb, Flame Thrower custom curved/phased HEI ignition is equipped with an HEI ignition system and a set of coated Lemons 2" headers. It was Dyno tested at 707 hp and it has been further improved and dialed in since, it has an abundance of power! It's dressed with AFR valve covers and features a complete billet front runner system with serpentine pulleys, billet brackets, and a modern alternator. The power steering is new and upgraded with a CPP gear box. It is also upgraded with a Wilwood master cylinder, premium fuel lines with a fuel pressure regulator, all new wiring and a Fastronix system. Keeping everything cool is a large aluminum radiator fitted with a custom shroud, overflow bottle and dual electric fans. The entire compartment is neatly organized, highly detailed, and shows the level of craftsmanship that went into this build.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are finished just as nicely as the exterior, the weatherstrip and latch mechanisms have been replaced, and billet trunk hinges add a custom touch. Inside, the metal is exceptionally clean and solid with a crisp spatter painted finish. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and secured in a polished stainless Taylor battery box. Overall, the trunk is every bit as detailed and impressive as the rest of the vehicle.

UNDERSIDE: It is detailed, fresh, and seriously upgraded. The body was removed from the chassis and placed on a rotisserie for restoration. The frame was sent to a race car builder in Colorado Springs who perfected the suspension geometry. Remarkably, the car required no alignment shims in the control arms, a testament to the precision of the work performed. The frame was blasted and powder coated for long lasting durability. Up front, it features Global West tubular control arms, double adjustable Viking coilover gas shocks, a heavy duty swaybar, and an additional tubular support bar. In back, it has a 1-inch UMI linked sway bar, Global West control arms, and double adjustable coilover gas shocks. The brake system has been completely replaced and upgraded with Wilwood 4 piston calipers, drilled and slotted 2 piece disc brakes at all four corners. The exhaust is a custom 3-inch stainless Pypes system with Violator mufflers and remote operated electric cutouts, allowing you to control the attitude with the push of a button. The fuel system was also completely replaced, including a new tank equipped with an internal Aeromotive Stealth fuel pump. Looking up at the engine, you'll find a Moroso 7-quart oil pan and a high torque starter. The Turbo 475 automatic transmission, originally based on a heavy duty RV unit, was performance built to handle 1,500 hp. It features straight cut gears, a manual valve body, an extra capacity finned aluminum pan, and a Gear Vendors over

<description>During the Golden Age of muscle cars, there were so many options to choose from that you really couldn't go wrong with almost any of the Big Three's offerings. One of those high-powered choices was a car like this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute. From the outset, its fully repainted black body, complemented by a set of full-length white-painted SS stripes and a pinned cowl-induction hood, showcases the Chevelle's aggressive lines from any angle.

Inside, we find a clean, black-vinyl SS-style interior. A center console separates dual bucket seats, while a power-assisted, four-spoke, power-assisted steering wheel sits just ahead of a seven-pod gauge cluster, highlighted by a 120-mph speedometer. An AM radio and sliding HVAC controls keep things simple, while a staple-style shifter doubles as a grab-bar whenever it's go-time.

Under the hood, we find a clean engine bay with a 454-cubic-inch V-8 engine on display in all its glory. This primer orange big block sports a single four-barrel Holley carburetor, while spent gases are expelled through a set of long headers, true-dual exhaust, and sweet-sounding FlowMaster mufflers that dump before the rear axle. That power is routed through a three-speed automatic transmission before being sent to a twelve-bolt rear end, which transfers those ponies to the pavement via a set of 15-inch wheels with Chevrolet center caps, shod in modern 225/70R-15 Cooper Cobra Radial T/A tires.

<description>Few muscle cars command as much recognition and notoriety as the Chevelle. One look at this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute, and it's easy to see why this car has left an indelible mark on enthusiasts worldwide, despite being out of production since 1977. Fully repainted in a head-turning bright red complemented by a set of full-length black painted SS stripes to go along with its pinned cowl-induction hood, and blackout grille, this Tribute shows off the aggressive lines of the Chevelle from any angle.

Inside, we find a clean, redone black vinyl interior. A center console separates a pair of supportive bucket seats, complete with headrests. A two-spoke power-assisted SS steering wheel sits just ahead of a six-pod gauge cluster, featuring a 7,000-rpm tachometer and a 120-mph speedometer. An original-looking AM radio exists in its factory location, but really, the Hurst T-bar shifter with an easy-to-see shift pattern provides all the entertainment you need for any long drive.

Under the hood, we find a clean engine bay with a massive naturally aspirated 502-cubic-inch V-8 on display. Using GM Performance aluminum heads, a Fast EFI throttle-body injection setup mounted on an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, this bruising big block does away with exhaust gases via long-tube headers capped with sweet-sounding FlowMaster mufflers. If you really want to make a statement, then flip the switch for the dual electric cutouts and listen to what an old-school muscle car can really sound like. That massive power is routed through a Richmond Super T-10 four-speed manual transmission before being sent to the 12-bolt rear end, which translates those ponies to the pavement via a set of 15-inch powder-coated wheels shod in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

  HIGHLIGHTS:

 • Cowl Hood
 • Hood Pins
 • Blackout Grille
 • 502ci V8

Power brakes featuring Wilwood cross-drilled and slotted front discs are ready to rein in those ponies whenever called upon. If you have been looking for a great example of one of the baddest big-block monsters from the Golden Age of muscle cars, then look no further because this is the car for you.
