1966 Ford Mustang

INTRODUCTION: I can certainly say this one checks the boxes! The look speaks for itself, and it's been treated to a full rotisserie restoration. It has the performance to back it up with a fuel-injected 347 stroker, 5-speed manual, upgraded suspension and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Inside, you'll ride in comfort with a full TMI interior, Bluetooth stereo, Vintage Air and power windows at your fingertips. This Mustang delivers the looks, performance and modern comforts!

EXTERIOR: The body is absolutely fantastic and straight as an arrow with no rust or damage. The gaps are spot on, and the doors shut like a new car. A Shelby style scooped hood adds some attitude, while the rest of the car has a clean, modern look with the emblems and antenna removed. Up front it features a custom grille, upgraded LED headlights, and smooth bumpers with no exposed bolts. All of the exterior trim has been blacked out for a cohesive appearance. The windshield and rear window are new, and the weatherstrips have been replaced. In back it has a custom gas cap and smooth bumper. It rolls on 17-inch US Mags wrapped in Nitto performance tires, with a little extra meat in back for just the right stance.

INTERIOR: The interior is awesome! It features a complete TMI interior that blends modern comfort with classic Mustang styling. In front of me is a TMI dash with red stitching and an Alcantara center. The instrument panel, gauges and knobs have all been replaced. Vintage Air is very neatly integrated with modern vents and controls. A Bluetooth retro stereo plays through molded kick panel speakers and additional speakers in back. They didn't offer a tilt wheel in 1966, but this one has it, topped with a leather cushion grip steering wheel. The modern TMI seats feature Alcantara inserts and red stitching while retaining the iconic retro Pony inserts. The fold down rear seat is upholstered to match. Deluxe door panels feature the desirable knife handle door openers, and what appear to be traditional window cranks are actually switches for the power windows. Even the interior metal trim has been wrapped in upholstery for a completely finished look. A matching TMI console features a storage tray, cup holders and padded armrest, with a billet 5-speed shifter coming through the center. Fresh carpet with embroidered mats covers sound deadener underneath. New seat belts have chrome buckles with Pony emblems. Overhead, it has a custom headliner along with new visors and rearview mirror. It's a beautifully coordinated, upgraded interior from top to bottom.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very impressive both in what it has to offer and its presentation. The entire engine bay has been customized and highly detailed. The custom firewall and inner fenders are finished in slick red paint, and everything is fresh right down to the nuts and bolts. Even the underside of the hood is painted slick red and supported by black billet hinges. At the heart of it is a 347 stroker making approximately 400 horsepower. It's equipped with AFR aluminum heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley Sniper EFI, black coated headers and MSD ignition. It's dressed up with a sharp set of valve covers. Up front is a CVF Runner system featuring billet brackets, serpentine pulleys, a mini A/C compressor, polished alternator and modern power steering. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan and overflow bottle keeps it cool. The braking system is upgraded with a Wilwood master cylinder and power brake booster. All the hoses and lines are neatly routed and wrapped, contributing to the exceptionally clean, finished presentation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick, and the weatherstrip is new. Really cool black billet hinges add a custom touch. Inside, the trunk is completely boxed and upholstered with a neatly carpeted floor for a clean, finished appearance.

UNDERSIDE: The fun certainly doesn't end underneath! This car was flipped on a rotisserie and the clean, rust free metal was prepped and painted gloss red. The front end has been completely updated with tubular control arms, QA1 adjustable coilover gas shocks, a heavy duty sway bar and rack and pinion steering. Welded tubular frame connectors tie the front and rear together for a tighter, more rigid feel. In back are lowering leaf springs, QA1 gas shocks and another heavy duty sway bar. Stopping power is seriously upgraded with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four wheels with red calipers. The fuel system was completely replaced and upgraded to accommodate the fuel injection. A custom dual exhaust features stainless resonators, factory style mufflers and GT tips exiting through the rear valance. Looking up at the clean 347 is a high torque starter. It's mated to an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. A rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a custom heavy duty 9-inch rear end finished in gloss black and equipped with 3.50 positraction gears. It's every bit as impressive underneath as it is on top.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: This might be the one you need to pull the trigger on! You can keep shopping, but you'll have a very difficult time finding another Mustang with this combination of looks, performance, modern comforts and a full rotisserie restoration- especially at this price point. There's a lot of car here for the money!

Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership.

Take a close look at this restored 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom, a first-generation Mustang that combines iconic 1960s Ford styling with serious performance upgrades and show-quality finish. Powered by a dyno-tested 308 cubic-inch V8 producing 398 horsepower and backed by a rebuilt Borg Warner T5 5-speed manual transmission, this classic Mustang delivers an outstanding combination of performance, sound and drivability.

According to the VIN, this Mustang was built at Ford's Metuchen, New Jersey plant on July 20, 1966. It originally left the factory as a 1966 Mustang Fastback with a 289/200HP V8, 4-speed manual transmission, Wimbledon White exterior, Red Luxury interior and a standard rear end with 2.80 gears.

The car was restored around 2012 and purchased by MS CLASSIC CARS in December 2022. MS CLASSIC CARS completed a light restoration in April 2023, with a documented investment of $44,136.10. The body was stripped and refinished in its original Wimbledon White paint, then wet sanded, buffed and detailed to a show-quality finish. Red GT vinyl stripes, chrome GT trim and Redline tires give this custom Mustang an unmistakable classic muscle car appearance.

Exterior highlights include a new windshield, original Ford Car-Lite stamped glass, new window trim, wiper arms and blades, antenna, dual chrome mirrors, chrome GT grille with fog lights, Ford-stamped headlights, chrome front and rear bumpers, restored lighting, GT gas cap and GT/302 V8 emblems. New chrome 15-inch mag wheels with red Mustang center caps are wrapped in BF Goodrich Silverstone Radial 215/65R15 Redline tires.

Inside, the restored Red Luxury interior perfectly complements the Wimbledon White exterior. The interior features new headliner, sun visors, rearview mirror, dash pad, gauge cluster, simulated wood trim, wood steering wheel, sill plates, door panels, console, bucket seats, rear seat, seat belts, carpeting and black rubber floor mats. A reproduction Rally Pac provides an RPM gauge and clock. Custom upgrades include an SST shifter with white ball and a Retro-Sound audio system with door speakers. The gauges, lights, horn, turn signals, heating system, clock and sound system are operational.

The engine compartment is highly detailed and packed with performance upgrades. The 308 V8 was rebuilt by NATS Engines in Seekonk, Massachusetts and dyno tested at 398 horsepower. Engine components include an Eagle crank, Scat rods, Mahle forged pistons, Howards roller cam, Ford Racing 302X aluminum heads, Ford Racing lifters, Scorpion roller rockers and a Moroso oil pan. An Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock AV2 650 CFM carburetor with electric choke, electronic ignition, Pertronix Flame Thrower coil, Taylor wires and upgraded fuel and ignition components complete the performance package.

The engine breathes through Summit Racing ceramic-coated headers and a 2.5-inch Pypes dual exhaust system that gives this classic Mustang an aggressive V8 sound. Cooling is handled by a reproduction 3-row radiator.

The 398HP V8 is paired with a rebuilt Borg Warner T5 5-speed manual transmission and McLeod Street Pro 10.5-inch clutch. Power is transferred through a Ford 8-inch Positraction rear end with 3.55 gears rebuilt by MS CLASSIC CARS. A Borgeson power steering system improves drivability.

The undercarriage is nicely detailed and was refinished with textured paint for durability. Suspension and chassis upgrades include a larger front sway bar, KYB shocks at all four corners and a 1-inch lowered stance. Braking performance is upgraded with front disc brakes and 4-piston calipers.

After MS CLASSIC CARS sold the Mustang in 2023, it went to previous customers in Casa Grande, Arizona, where it was displayed in their collection and driven only approximately 40 miles. MS CLASSIC CARS had the opportunity to purchase this Mustang back in July 2026 and invested another $3,617.28 in service and detailing. September 2026 marks the first time it has been listed for sale since returning to MS CLASSIC CARS.

Ford Highboy F-250 pickup truck with upgraded 390 engine that runs perfectly! The truck drives well and most everything works. It has dual gas tanks. The paint is original aside from the rust inhibitor brush on paint in spots that the last owner did 11 years ago when he got the truck. Truck is very dry with very light little rust on drivers lower fender and furthest back rear quarter is a dime size hole. Original Arizona truck brought here 11 years ago. Bed is completely rust free along with the underside. It is an F26 vin number proving original Highboy of course. Ignore the bumper in the bed, it is for my chevelle. These are very difficult to find and then find a pretty much rust free one! Seat will need to be recovered. I have the marti report coming in a few days. I have a clean title for the truck.

1967 Ford Mustang

INTRODUCTION: A true thoroughbred! With a built 347 stroker and over 500 ponies under the hood, this Mustang is leading the pack. Whether pounding the ground, stealing the show, or just cruising the highway in 5th gear, this Mustang can do it all, and do it well. Get behind the wheel and you'll never want to trot again, only gallop!

EXTERIOR: Pretty and proper! The Gulf stream Aqua paint stands out in a crowd, and quality wise holds its own in a showroom full of pristinely restored classics double the price. It was applied with great attention to detail then polished to a finish that is reflective and smooth to the touch. The panels are all nicely aligned with the doors opening and closing easily. The chrome bumpers and remaining brightwork are sparkly and shiny. The front grille has been replaced and the headlights upgraded to halogen units. It has factory style turn signal indicators in the dual hood scoops. The rubber seals and fuzzy strips have been replaced. The black lower body stripe nicely complements the interior. The stance is right and it's sitting pretty on a set of 15 in Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: Nicely upgraded! I instantly noticed the upgraded bucket seats when I sat in the car. They have been reupholstered and re-cushioned with extra bolster to keep you in place when cutting the curves. It has seat belts front and back. The lower part of the dash and steering column have been nicely painted and the dash pad has been replaced. It has factory style gauges including a tachometer. All the lenses are clear and easy to read. Additional Auto meter gauges help monitor the vitals. The three spoke steering wheel has a really nice grip to it. The radio has been upgraded to a digital stereo with extra speakers in the kick panels and rear package shelf. The door panels, levers, headliner, sun visors, and carpeting have all been replaced. Even the floor mats are really nice with custom Mustang embroidery. And of course we can't forget about the upgraded Hurst 5 speed manual shifter begging to be thrown around.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Street beast! The 347-500hp stroker is built with high-end components both inside and out. Upgrades include H beam rods, JP Pistons, aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, ported and polished aluminum Edelbrock performer RPM heads, ceramic coated headers, MSD ignition, Holley 780 carburetor, fuel pressure regulator and more. It is equipped with power steering and an upgraded wilwood master cylinder. Shock Tower supports and additional bracing help prevent twisting under power. The horn and squirters are hooked up. The underside of the hood, fenderwells, and firewall are all neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully carpeted! The underside of the trunk lid and inside the jamb is nicely painted with the same shine as the exterior. The weather strip has been replaced. The battery was relocated to the trunk inside a properly vented and secured aluminum safety box.

UNDERSIDE: This Mustang's undercarriage has been significantly upgraded for improved performance and handling. Up front, it features an upgraded suspension system with gas shocks, adjustable strut rods, a larger sway bar, plus rack-and-pinion steering. Welded in tubular frame connectors tie the front and rear of the chassis together, greatly reducing body flex and improving handling. Out back, it has 1 1⁄4-inch drop reverse eye leaf springs with upgraded bushings and a performance shackle kit, along with gas shocks. The 3 inch stainless exhaust system is impressive with an X-pipe, and MagnaFlow mufflers for both performance and sound. The fuel system has been replaced, and braking is handled by Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four corners. Looking up at the engine you'll find an extra capacity oil pan and high torque starter. The Tremec five-speed manual transmission uses a Pro Ripper shifter, dual friction clutch and a billet flywheel. A custom driveshaft leads to a heavy duty custom 9-inch rear end with 3.70 Yukon posi gears and Moser 31 spline axles. The rust free floors were sandblasted and sealed.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: What a great opportunity to saddle up and have some fun for not a heck of a lot of money. This pony was born to run!

1934 Ford Custom

INTRODUCTION: This is an absolute first class build in every respect! It's a real, all steel 1934 Ford, not a reproduction. It was professionally built by high end builder Forsaken Rod & Custom. With just over 1,100 miles since completion, the craftsmanship and restoration quality are exceptional, the color combination is stunning, and it looks every bit as good as it drives. From the show quality details to the performance, this '34 Ford is the complete package!

EXTERIOR: This is a real 1934 Ford- not a reproduction and it retains its all steel body and fenders. The body is pristine, with every inch straight and smooth. The black paint is like a mirror, polished to such a deep, reflective finish it looks like you could reach your arm right into it! It maintains that nostalgic '34 Ford character with ribbed rubber running boards, big headlights with Ford script lenses, a chrome grille topped with the Greyhound ornament, original style door handles on the suicide doors, stainless bumper brackets and polished bumpers. It also features a chrome windshield frame and black canvas convertible top. Turn signals are neatly incorporated into the headlights and factory style taillights. Beautiful 15 inch red powder coated multi spoke wheels with GoodYear that are fatter in back, giving this classic Ford the perfect hot rod stance.

INTERIOR: Absolutely first class! This recently completed custom interior was created by Steve Holcomb at Pro Auto Custom Interiors, known for world class work. It's finished in glove soft genuine Italian leather with nicely cushioned seats, black inserts and silver buttons. The matching door panels are beautifully done, and even the area behind the seat is completely upholstered. Premium square loop carpet and matching mats finish the floor, while all the black paint is as deep and glossy as the exterior. A full set of classic style gauges includes a tachometer and clock. The neatly integrated digital climate control lets you set the temperature and forget about it. An $8,000 stereo system was just installed and sounds incredible, with speakers cleverly incorporated into the leather kick panels. Best of all, there's a 5-speed manual shifter sticking out of the floor! A tilt column and beautiful steering wheel complete the driver's area. There's also a surprising room inside- I'm six feet tall and fit comfortably with no problem at all.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Mechanical jewelry! Pop the hood and it looks like a jewelry case packed with polished hardware. And yes, it's Ford tough with Ford stuff- no Chevy motor here! Built by Performance Machining, the 408 stroker started with a Ford 351 block that was deburred and smoothed. It features polished heads and a custom made intake topped with a Tri-Power carburetor setup. It's dressed to impress with tall chrome Ford Racing valve covers, a chrome air cleaner and a fully polished Front Runner system, including the brackets, serpentine pulleys, A/C compressor and alternator. An oversized radiator with an electric fan and overflow bottle keeps it running cool. It also features an electric choke, electronic ignition and coated headers. It looks spectacular, but it's certainly not just for show- this 408 runs strong and does its job!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is finished to the same high standards as the interior by Steve Holcomb. It's completely boxed and upholstered in rich red Italian leather with black cloth inserts and silver buttons. Premium square loop carpet covers the floor, and even the underside of the trunk lid is beautifully upholstered. The battery is neatly hidden behind one of the finished panels.

UNDERSIDE: This undercarriage is every bit as impressive as the rest of the car. It rides on a Progressive chassis featuring a boxed frame with tubular center supports for exceptional strength and rigidity. Up front is a chrome Heidts Superide independent suspension with tubular control arms, adjustable coilover gas shocks, and rack-and-pinion steering. The rear is equipped with a polished four-link system, tubular control arms, and adjustable coilover shocks. A custom fabricated, polished 3 inch stainless exhaust system runs underneath with Vibrant resonators and Kooks mufflers. All new fuel system. The brake system has been completely upgraded with front disc brakes featuring polished calipers, rear drums, all new lines, and an electric emergency brake. Looking up at the drivetrain, you'll find a chrome oil pan and a new Ford Motorsports high-torque starter. A Tremec TKO 5-speed, and a custom driveshaft leads back to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.70 posi gears. The chassis and frame are finished in high-gloss black, while the clean metal underside is protected with durable black chip guard coating. As a thoughtful touch, remote battery terminals are conveniently mounted underneath for easy access.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: We bought this from a gentleman who loves building high end custom cars. He bought this '34 already in amazing shape, then spent tens of thousands making it even better. He's only selling because his next project is a $400,000 custom truck. You're getting a truly standout car-you won't pull up next to another one like it!

For over 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have written the highlights for nearly every car in our collection, based on decades of hands-on experience. If you're seriously considering this car, the best next step is to call us. We'll give you straight answers and help you decide if it's the right fit.

INTRODUCTION: Wanna be the boss? This is the way to do it without putting in countless hours of work. We have a #s matching car with spotless original metal and it's documented by a Marti report too. It is a one family (two owner) car that was pulled from a basement where it had been hibernating for 30 years, then it received a detailed three year nut & bolt restoration. Remarkably, it retains its original #s-matching engine, 4-speed trans, and rear end as well. "People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads, and the boss drives" (Theodore Roosevelt). Now is your time to get behind the wheel!

EXTERIOR: Eye appeal! The Grabber Blue paint commands attention and in my opinion is one of the most attractive colors of the muscle car era. The factory correct color has been reapplied with great attention to detail then polished to a smooth and reflective finish. Claimed by the restorer to have its original metal. Looking down the side of the laser straight original steel body is satisfying with all the smooth contours and crisp lines. The panels were painstakingly aligned with nice consistent gaps that are well above average. The door is open and close easily with minimal effort. The front and rear spoilers plus window louvers greatly enhance the profile. The front grille looks like new and it has Ford branded headlights too. All the glass is nice and clear with new rubber seals and fuzzy strips also. The chrome and polished pieces have all been refinished, presenting beautifully with a phenomenal shine. The factory style Boss 302 reflective striping compliments the interior perfectly and looks tough too. It's sitting on a nice set of 15" Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: Fresh and fantastic! Both front and back seats are looking good, plus they are equipped with seat belts.. The door panels, headliner, and carpeting have also been replaced with good quality components. It has factory gauges including an optional tachometer. Sitting proudly front and center is a Hurst 4 speed manual shifter attached to the numbers matching transmission. The rear package shelf is in great shape with two aftermarket speakers neatly installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Proper presentation! The rebuilt numbers matching 302 Boss is a high revving legendary engine. This one appears fresh and clean down to the new nuts and bolts. The power plant is nicely dressed with the correct air cleaner and valve covers. Pristine Ford Blue paint adorns the engine. All the hoses and belts have been replaced. The battery is properly secured plus the horns are hooked up. The radiator looks to be rebuilt or replaced and it's equipped with power disc brakes too. Under the hood, fender Wells, and firewall are all very neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Refinished! Under the trunk lid and inside the jamb have been neatly repainted and the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the trunk has a vinyl mat. Under the mat is a new gas tank and surrounding it is all clean original steel that is neatly painted satin black.

UNDERSIDE: Clean as a whistle! It is nut and bolt restored but even more impressive, it retains all original rust free metal. A very clean car before the restoration, the floors have merely been freshened with a light dusting of black paint. The Boss 302 came standard with Competition Suspension, it included heavy duty springs, heavy duty shocks and larger stabilizer bars both front and rear. The staggered rear shocks were designed to control wheel hop. The entire suspension on this car has been rebuilt and detailed. It has been upgraded with gas shocks too.

The brake system was totally restored including power disc brakes up front and drums out back. All the lines and hoses were replaced plus the emergency brake is functional. It has a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, and turned down tailpipes. The fuel system has also been replaced, including a new fuel tank. Looking up at the engine everything is spotless and detailed in correct Ford blue. It has been upgraded with a high torque starter. The original Ford Toploader 4 speed manual transmission was completely rebuilt and retains its correct identification tag, casting codes, and matching partial VIN as well. In back is the original Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears, which is properly dated and has been rebuilt. Overall, the underside is exceptionally clean!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: If you don't like lots of attention and compliments, please do not buy this car! Not only does it look awesome and drive great but it's also a smart place to park your money for investment purposes. Get in, turn the key, and never look back!

1923 Ford Model T

INTRODUCTION: 1923 was the first year for Ford's four door sedan, and it was quite the luxurious upgrade! While an open Touring car cost only $290, this enclosed sedan was over $700 when new. This beautiful example has been nicely restored and features several desirable period accessories. Best of all, it was actually being enjoyed. An elderly couple would take it out each week for a couple mile trip to get their groceries. It's a charming piece of Americana that's ready for its next caretaker to enjoy!

EXTERIOR: 1923 was the first year for the 4 door sedan, and it cost more than twice as much as a Touring because of the extensive coachwork involved. The body is wood framed and covered in steel, and it remains remarkably solid. The doors don't sag- they click shut nicely, and even the lock works. It has ford script on the running boards along with polished step plates. The black paint is exceptionally glossy, do you know why Henry Ford said "you can have any color as long as it's black?" It's because he practically invented the assembly line, 2 million fords were built in 2023 and black was the fastest drying color. complemented by excellent fenders, Ford script running boards and step plates. The headlights feature Ford script glass lenses, while discreet turn signals have been added for safety. The windshield opens and there's a functional cowl vent- about as close as you got to air conditioning in 1923! Even the windows roll up and down properly. A deluxe Moto-Meter dresses up the radiator, while beautiful varnished wood wheels are wrapped in tires with hardly any miles, including a matching spare. The vinyl roof and matching sunshade are also in excellent condition, completing the authentic early Ford appearance.

INTERIOR: Compared to an open Touring car, this was downright luxurious in 1923! The interior has been beautifully redone in gray cloth with light gray pinstriping, including the curved front seat and fully upholstered side panels with storage pockets. The headliner has been replaced and fresh carpeting covers the floor. In back you'll find deluxe privacy shades and a particularly charming period accessory- rare bud vases. Instead of hanging an air freshener from the mirror, fresh flowers could be placed in the vases to add a pleasant fragrance to the cabin. Ornate nickel window cranks add another upscale touch. The dash reminds you just how simple motoring once was: essentially an ignition switch and amp gauge. Even the original steering wheel remains in great shape.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is Ford's legendary 2.9-liter inline 4-cylinder producing a whopping 20 horsepower! Funny enough, that's the same displacement as the V8 in a Ferrari 308- so they're practically the same engine, right? The mechanicals have been rebuilt and present very nicely. It's been upgraded from the original individual coil system to a much more user friendly distributor ignition, making it easier to operate and maintain. And, of course, it has the essential Model T accessory- the classic "ooga" horn. Everything appears clean, sorted and ready to go.

UNDERSIDE: It appears to be properly restored and very authentic. It retains the simple mechanical layout that made the Model T famous, including its correct style exhaust system, rear wheel only braking, and Ford's planetary 2-speed transmission.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: What a nostalgic, wonderful little car! It has a huge cute factor, but more importantly, it's over 100 years old- a genuine piece of American automotive history. Considering the quality of the restoration and how nicely it presents, it's also a fantastic value. You can't buy many 100-year-old pieces of history that are charming, usable, and affordable!

1970 Ford Mustang

INTRODUCTION: This is the one collectors want: an R-code 428 Cobra Jet Mach-1 with a Shaker hood and 4-speed! It was taken down to a bare shell, put on a rotisserie, and thoroughly restored with photos documenting the process. It's also well documented with its original invoice, Marti Report, and miscellaneous receipts. One of only 264 produced in this color combination!

EXTERIOR: The 1970 Mach 1 SportsRoof is unquestionably one of Ford's greatest designs- aggressive, muscular, and instantly recognizable. This one was taken all the way down to a bare shell, mounted on a rotisserie, and beautifully restored in its original Medium Gold Metallic. The metallic is laid out evenly beneath the clear coat, and the finish has been polished smooth like glass. The blacked-out hood treatment gives it the unmistakable Mach 1 attitude, complete with a functional Shaker Ram Air scoop rising through the hood, 428 callouts, and racing style hood locks. It also features sport mirrors and the distinctive honeycomb rear tail panel with new taillights. The windshield has been replaced, along with the weatherstripping, and the chrome and exterior trim appear to have been replaced as well. Finishing off the look is a brand new set of Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.

INTERIOR: It features the desirable sport Interior, starting with high back bucket seats that have been reupholstered and new molded door panels. The woodgrain trim stretches across the dash and looks fresh, while the dash pad itself is mint. Even the Rim Blow steering wheel horn works. A retro stereo fits neatly in place of the original radio, while the heater controls, knobs, center console, and quartz movement clock all look great. Interior lights are working, and fresh carpeting includes sewn in floor mats. Best of all, rising from the console is a Hurst 4-speed shifter topped with the classic T-handle- exactly what you want to be gripping in a 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1. Overhead, the headliner and visors have also been completely refreshed. Overall, it's a fresh and tidy presentation.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Stuffed between the shock towers is the legendary 428 Cobra Jet, and the entire engine compartment has been restored and detailed to look much like it did when new. The engine bay features clean metal finished in smooth black, and the original buck tag is still in place. The 428 runs strong and retains a very authentic appearance with stock exhaust manifolds, finned aluminum valve covers, and even date coded reproduction spark plug wires. The cooling system is properly detailed with the correct style radiator and cap, Autolite hoses, and reproduction clamps. The washer bottle and related components are in place, the battery is properly secured, and it's also equipped with power brakes. Overall, this is a very clean, highly detailed engine compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The attention to detail continues inside the trunk. Under the trunk lid, the jambs, and throughout the compartment is pristine metal finished in the same glossy Medium Gold Metallic as the exterior. The weatherstripping has been replaced, and a fresh trunk mat finishes off the clean, restored appearance.

UNDERSIDE: The bare body shell was placed on a rotisserie during the restoration, allowing the underside to be restored to exceptional factory correct condition. The floors and frame rails are pristine, finished in red oxide primer with the proper overspray patterns just as they would have appeared leaving the factory. The Competition Suspension and steering system have been completely rebuilt. Just got a front end alignment It retains a correct-style dual exhaust system featuring a crossover pipe, factory-style mufflers, and the proper tips exiting through the rear valance. The fuel system has been replaced, along with the brake system, which includes front disc brakes, rear drums, all new lines, and a functioning emergency brake assembly. Looking up at the drivetrain, the engine is detailed in correct Ford Blue and paired with the original Toploader four-speed transmission with its tag RUG AZ new clutch the flywheel was cut repair the reverse light switch. The driveshaft leads back to the desirable Ford 9-inch rear end, completing a highly authentic and beautifully restored underside.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: You won't find too many fresher than this one! With very few miles since its restoration, this is a gorgeous, highly desirable and well documented R-code Mach 1. The 428 Cobra Jet, Shaker and 4-speed check all the right boxes- this is one serious Mustang!

1968 Ford Mustang

The 1968 Mustang GT/CS California Special was Ford's way of giving West Coast buyers a Mustang with Shelby-inspired looks without the Shelby price tag. It was created for California Ford dealers and sold as a limited-edition coupe during the 1968 model year. The package was inspired partly by Shelby styling and Ford's regional special-edition success, including the earlier High Country Specials.

What made the California Special stand out was its unique appearance package: Shelby-style rear quarter extensions, a fiberglass decklid with built-in spoiler, side scoops, special striping, blacked-out grille, fog lamps, pop-open gas cap, and Thunderbird-style sequential taillights similar to Shelby pieces.

Ford planned to sell more, but only about 4,118 were produced, which is why original GT/CS cars are collectible today. They were not all actual "GT" performance cars despite the GT/CS name; engine and drivetrain options varied, so a Marti Report is important for verifying how a specific car was built.

This 1968 Ford Mustang California Special offers distinctive limited-production styling with classic small block performance. Powered by a 289 Small Block Ford V8 paired with a Ford C4 automatic transmission, it sends power to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 2.79 gears. Finished in pebble beige exterior paint with a red stripe and black leather interior, this Mustang has a clean, standout appearance. Features include 4-wheel drum brakes, 15-inch Shelby 10-spoke wheels, BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Flame Thrower coil, OEM-style ignition, OEM radiator, belt-driven cooling fan, and an included Marti Report.
