<description>The 1961 Ford Falcon "Project EcoBird" is a breathtaking example of what happens when classic Ford styling meets modern performance engineering. Built from the ground up with a no-compromise approach, this Falcon has been transformed into a world-class restomod that delivers the perfect combination of vintage character, modern technology, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Every aspect of this build reflects an incredible level of attention to detail. From the fully engineered chassis and drivetrain to the bodywork, paint, and final fit and finish, this Falcon was created to an exceptionally high standard. The result is a car that looks stunning sitting still and delivers an unforgettable driving experience behind the wheel.

At the heart of the EcoBird is a Ford 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged engine equipped with a large Precision turbo system and custom intercooler, producing approximately 520 horsepower at the crank. That power is paired with a Bowler-built T5 5-speed manual transmission and McLeod twin-disc clutch, giving this lightweight Falcon the performance and engagement expected from a modern performance machine.

The chassis has been completely reimagined with a TCI independent front suspension, TCI rear four-link setup, QA1 coilovers on all four corners, Mike Maier Performance frame connectors, and a custom X-brace. A Moser 9-inch rear axle with 3.73 gears and Truetrac posi transfers the power to the pavement, while massive Wilwood 14-inch brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers provide modern stopping capability.

The exterior is every bit as impressive as the mechanical package. Finished in stunning 2014 Bentley Sapphire Blue, the Falcon features a rust-free original body with laser-straight panels, exceptional fit and finish, flawless stainless trim, and excellent chrome. The custom front spoiler was hand fabricated from a combination of aluminum and steel, adding a unique performance-inspired touch to the car's aggressive stance.

Inside, the EcoBird blends classic Falcon simplicity with modern comfort and technology. Custom Corbeau seats, Dakota Digital instrumentation, vintage air conditioning, and a retro-style Bluetooth audio system create an interior that is both functional and beautifully executed. Custom 3030 Autosport three-piece forged wheels complete the build, perfectly complementing the Falcon's performance-focused design.

With over $190,000 invested into the project, "Project EcoBird" represents the highest level of custom automotive craftsmanship. This is not simply a restored Falcon, it is a fully engineered, high-performance restomod that combines Ford heritage with modern EcoBoost technology in a way that is truly unique.
