<description>If a candy red classic has always been on your list, here's a top-of-the-line example. This 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback looks as good as it runs. Up front, a Shaker hood with full assembly rises above a clean grille and a bright bumper, featuring clear headlights and a lower black front spoiler that completes the aggressive look. Out back, the Mach 1–style rear spoiler, correct taillights, solid bumper, and dual exhaust carry the theme. Along both sides, the fenders, doors, and quarter panels, featuring signature side scoops, show well with only light wear from enjoying the car. Everything ties together perfectly with the classic Magnum 500 wheels.

Inside, the black-on-black interior presents nicely. The front seats are aftermarket TMI bucket seats, paired with a Hurst floor-mounted shifter for quick, easy gear changes. The dashboard is in good condition, and the gauge cluster retains a factory-style layout that appears to use original gauges. An aftermarket steering wheel and premium steering components from CJ Pony Parts complement the upgraded, stock-appearing radio. Below that, the factory climate controls operate a full Classic Auto Air system while retaining the original control panel look. The headliner, carpets, and door panels are all in good condition. The door jambs and sill plates are clean, and the trunk appears to be lined with sound-deadening material and is tidy throughout.

Under the hood sits a strong 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8 topped with a Holley Street Avenger carburetor and Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake. Supporting upgrades include a new fuel system, fresh plugs and wires, a high-flow water pump, and a 4-core aluminum radiator to keep everything running cool and smoothly. Power is sent through a Toploader Ford RUG-E 4-speed manual transmission to an 8-inch rear axle. The suspension retains a factory-style setup and features upgraded power disc brakes at all four corners, with drilled and slotted rotors in the rear. Fifteen-inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in 225/60R15 front and 255/60R15 rear tires provide the perfect stance. The exhaust uses stock-style manifolds flowing into dual pipes and glasspack-style mufflers for that unmistakable muscle car sound.

      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/mustang/1969/listing/238113</link>
<description>It's a lot of fun to see what the merger of creativity and aftermarket modifications can do to transform the identity of a classic car, yet it's always a welcome experience to encounter one in an unadorned stock configuration. That's exactly what this 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible offers. Wearing high-gloss silver blue paint that's paired with a white convertible top, and rolling on a straight, structurally sound foundation, this Pony exudes all the visual appeal that made the Mustang such an instant hit, representing a more muscular yet instantly recognizable take on the model that took the automotive market by storm a half decade before it rolled out. Yep, those first generation Mustangs were certainly a good-looking bunch.

The black vinyl interior has seen the attention needed to keep it in good shape and features a pair of bucket seats that show only slight wear as they bracket a clean center console that's been outfitted with USB ports, a nice add-on in today's tech-centric society. Glance through the polished aluminum steering wheel with its woodgrain trim and Mustang branding, and you'll see that the dash area is another high point on this vintage Mustang, with a straight, uncracked pad over the top and a set of easily readable factory gauges in the instrument cluster, something that's far from a given in a UV-sensitive convertible. A retro-look AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary port has also been added to the mix to afford you plenty of listening options during your road trips.

Like the rest of this classic, the drivetrain has been kept in factory configuration, so as you raise the hood, you'll find a period-correct 302-cubic-inch V8 standing by at the center of the compartment. With its valve covers and air cleaner properly painted in Ford Blue, the engine is in good running form, idling smoothly and pulling with plenty of strength. While the engine pairs with a C4 automatic transmission that does slip a little during downshifting, the fact that the transmission behaves normally otherwise suggests that it's likely more of an issue with internal pressure, as opposed to overall soundness. By the late-'60s, Ford seemed to be ahead of the curve as far as power steering was concerned, so this pony navigates nicely, and its power brakes that include discs in front bring prompt stops.

      <title>1969 Ford Mustang</title>
      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/mustang/1969/listing/237771</link>
<description>This is a striking car! Restored to look just like a Shelby GT350 from the Lucas fog lamps to the sequential taillights and everything in between. It's actually better than a Shelby because it was treated to some nice upgrades from a/c and power windows to 4 wheel disc brakes and power rack &amp;amp; pinion steering!

EXTERIOR: Again, it's very striking with a shiny black finish and the white reflective Shelby stripes down the side. The body is in excellent shape. No rust or damage and it fits real nice including the fiberglass Shelby parts. It has the extended fiberglass front end including the multi scooped ram air hood and fenders with air scoops. The doors have sport mirrors and the quarter panels have scoops. The fiberglass dovetail trunk lid and ¼ panel end caps fit nice. Although the paint is stunning when you approach the car, there are flaws if you look for them. Up front it has the wide mouth Shelby grill with the chrome surround and Lucas fog lamps down below. In back it has sequential taillights and unique Shelby exhaust port in the center. The white power top is in very excellent shape. It's even rolling on 15 inch Shelby wheels wrapped in BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The white deluxe interior is a striking contrast against the black. Overall, it is in very nice condition. It has the molded door panels, both signed by Carroll Shelby. The dash pads are in great shape, there is a full set of factory gauges including a tachometer. Down on the factory console it has to Shelby style Stewart Warner gauges, fog light and interior light toggle switches. The Shelby steering wheel does have a couple cracks and is now mounted on a tilt column. The carpets are really good with GT350 floor mats, the upholstery looks great. For added convenience power windows were installed. A stereo with a power antenna and speakers in the back panels will deliver your favorite tunes. The interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a great running 351 Windsor upgraded with aluminum heads and intake, a Summit carb with electric choke, Mallory ignition and a set of headers. On top is a functional ram air assembly. It also has a modern power steering system, power brakes and upgraded with air conditioning. The motor has aluminum pulleys, Edelbrock fuel pump, Powermaster alternator. Everything looks good and proper: new horns, dual electric fans, the battery is secured, and the squirters are hooked up.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is clean and complete. It has a 5th matching Shelby wheel for a spare, a jack and reproduction mat.

UNDERSIDE: It's overall solid, proper and has some nice upgrades. There's a Heidts front suspension with tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks, rack &amp;amp; pinion steering. It has air shocks in back. The brake system has been upgraded with disc at all four wheels, it looks like the e-brake cables and lines have been replaced. The fuel system looks to be in great shape. It has dual exhaust with resonators, a transverse muffler, and the rare exhaust port that lands in the center of the valance. The floors and frame rails appear to be solid. Looking up at the motor it is clean, it has a custom oil pan to accommodate the upgraded front suspension. It also has been upgraded to a 5-speed manual transmission. The rebuilt drive shaft leads back to a Ford 9 inch posi rear.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.

This is a beautiful older restoration that will deliver smiles, especially for the driver!
