<description>1970 Mustang Boss 302 Sportsroof, a 71252 Mile project I first found sitting in 1978. This is a rare classic unfortunately lost the original Boss 302 when the bottom end came apart. Stored as a dream for many years after the motor issue it sat until we found it and brought it back to life with a running rebuilt .30 over 351 Cleveland with closed chamber heads and all new accessories. offered with its numbered 4 speed close ratio toploader 4 speed we had reconditioned including the factory shifter. With our skilled effort we have it back to moving on its own again. Equipped with the great options of Power steering and Power disc brakes make it a desirable model as most of these had little or no options. You find the original front end pieces including clean wrap around shock towers as well as the larger sway bar. The original 9 inch housing and staggered shock plates are intact with the upper rear brace in great condition to. Unfortunately the rear center section was traded out many rears ago at which time the 31 spline axles also dissapeared and a 28 spline 3.00 we believe was installed and is connected to an original 9 inch driveshaft. As for the body the worst first, the cowl is bad and that killed the driver floor and lower supports as well. Sorry to say the passenger side is also compromised. An attempt to fill the area where rotted panels were removed the floor panels are lightly installed although we feel the patch panels should be removed and replace them with a 1 piece floor pan. Now the better body panel news, the original rolled lip fenders are clean and in good shape. The quarter panels and trunk area have very little rot with the roof panel also in good condition. The hood and doors will probably need replacing as well as front and rear valences and the trunk lid is a 69 so it will neep replacing. The trunk floor is OK so thats a plus . This is not a estimate its a overview so you will be responsible for your own inspection.</description>

<description>1970 Shelby GT500 Convertible Clone – 428 SCJ / 4-Speed This 1970 Shelby GT500 Convertible Clone is finished in iconic Acapulco Blue with a white power convertible top and Deluxe White interior, delivering the full Shelby look and experience at a fraction of the cost of an original. Power comes from an authentic 428 Super Cobra Jet V8, paired with a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gearing, creating a thrilling, period-correct driving experience. The car is described as extremely strong-running, with the ability to pull hard through all gears. The vehicle received the full Shelby treatment, including what are believed to be authentic Shelby body components, along with Shelby-style roll bar, graphics, emblems, wheels, door-jamb Shelby decals, and a Shelby VIN plate under the hood. The result is a highly convincing clone that presents exceptionally well and can be shown with confidence. The body is solid with excellent floors and frame rails, and the car was the subject of an extensive restoration at some point in its life. While documentation is not available, the quality of workmanship and components clearly reflects significant investment. A beautifully executed Shelby clone that looks right, drives hard, and delivers the full 428 SCJ / 4-speed muscle car experience without the real-Shelby price tag. <title>1970 Ford Mustang</title>
      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/mustang/1970/listing/238046</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Restored to factory condition, detailed motor compartment and underside right down to assembly line markings. Documented with Marti Report and buck tag. Factory colors, correct codes and dates on the motor, trans and rear. The Boss 302 was an instant automotive legend. Sporty looks, upgraded performance and scarcity made it highly desirable when new and even more so today. Built for Trans Am racing, it successfully stole the championship title from Chevy. Of course it featured a performance built motor but what good is that if the car couldn't put it effectively to the pavement. Each car came with a 4-speed, upgraded handling, brakes, exhaust, wheels and tires. There were several sporty appearance upgrades too.

EXTERIOR: The fastback looks are killer and the Boss option elevated it even more! The paint is over 20 years old and in my opinion it's show quality. I also believe it has clean metal that is absolutely straight with no signs of rust or damage. It fits very nicely, the ¼ panels look original and the front fender lips are rolled which was on Boss 302s only. Repainted its original Grabber Yellow and it is polished smooth and glossy. It also has the correct reflective stripes on the sides, flat black stripes on the hood, trunk and tail panel. Dressed to the nines with spoilers, louvers, racing mirrors and of course the shaker hood with racing pins. The chrome is sparkling, the weatherstrips and windshield were replaced. It's sitting on 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires.

INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car and it has a very nice, unabused interior that I believe a good portion is still original. Down on the floor the carpets have been replaced, it has pony floor mats, a full set of seat belts and the Hurst T-handle 4-speed sticking out of the hump. The dash area appears to be all original and in very good shape including the optional tachometer and AM 8-track stereo. The door panels and armrests are in excellent shape, the door speakers are correct with the 8-track stereo. The seats have very good upholstery, headliner and visors are looking real good too. The interior lights works, the owner's manual and sales brochure are included.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This motor compartment is detailed back to its factory original condition! At the heart of it is the high revving Boss 302 motor rated at 290 horsepower but most can agree it was closer to 400! Factory features include solid lifters, Cleveland heads, aluminum intake and a Holley carb. They came dressed up with finned aluminum valve covers and on top of this one is the ram air shaker hood scoop assembly which is even complete with the heat riser assembly. Other features include power steering and power brakes. All of the components look clean and proper. It is detailed with reproduction hoses, clamps, spark plug wires and an Auto Lite battery topper. It's complete with the rev limiter, Ford washer bottle, horns, the right stickers and tags including the buck tag. It is clean metal that was neatly painted and looking sharp.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean and complete, under the trunk lid is painted real nicely and has the stickers and prop rod. Inside is solid original metal with a reproduction mat, space saver spare tire and jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: It's been concourse restored underneath, meaning it is restored to factory condition. Being a Boss 302 it has the competition suspension which includes staggered rear shocks and quick ratio steering box among other things. The suspension and steering has been rebuilt and detailed. The Boss also has disc brakes in front, drum in back. The brake system was restored, complete with replaced lines and e-brake cables. The fuel system was replaced, including the tank. It has the factory type dual exhaust with turn down tail pipes. Looking up at the motor it is clean with stock components. It also has its correct wide ratio 4-speed transmission with proper date and the tag is still attached. The drive shaft leads back to its original 9 inch rear with 3.50 gears, proper dates and original tag. It's all painted in the proper finishes including primered floors, it even has assembly line markings throughout.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: In summary the Boss 302 is a highly desirable and collectable muscle car. This one is impressive being so correct, detailed, documented and I believe it to be a 57,778 mile car. I've been wanting to buy a Boss and have passed on several nice ones over the last year, this one finally met my standards. I think it's exceptional!

Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership.
