      <description>1934 Ford 40 Deluxe Coupe

For consignment a fiberglass version of a hot rodded 1934 Ford 40 Deluxe 3 window coupe showing a title verified 29,430 actual miles on the odometer. A custom interior with modern conveniences, and a snappy 350ci V8 under the hood will provide years of carefree enjoyment in a car that is nearly 88 years old, or at least it appears as one.

  Exterior
Nicely crafted molded fiberglass curved lines are presented throughout this car uniformly painted in the best named paint, Oh So Sexy Orange. Darker orange flames start just behind the puzzle shaped grille shell and lick their way rearward, while others flicker over the front fenders. This 3 window coupe has been chopped and shaved and has heavily louvered engine covers while a shield shaped grille with vertical ribs curves downward to join gull wing shaped fenders. These join with running boards on either side and then into the rear fenders which go with the flow of the trunk and back of this rodder where LED slit style lights line the bottom. Shiny 16 and 17-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels carry staggered size tires. Finally, Ford is imprinted in ghost like paint on the rear decklid and we could not find any exterior imperfections on this beauty.

  Interior
Flame embossed tan leather covers the inside of the suicide doors and not only present well, but match the print on the bucket seats, complete with an orange base and orange seat belts. Up front, a Lecarra steering wheel wears a tan leather rim ahead of the body colored dash with cream colored Classic Instruments gauges arranged symmetrically at the base of the steering column. Naturally, an orange skull serves as the shifter handle, rising from the floor where a console includes a cupholder, radio controller for the AM/FM/CD unit, and brushed aluminum colored switches. We've got saddle carpet below and a tan headliner above with some saggy spots, while a backup camera screen is mounted on the windshield header. The trunk is show ready, with more flame embossed leather and saddle carpet in a fully finished presentation.

  Drivetrain
An orange block, orange flames on the valve covers, and orange wires dress up the engine along with a plethora of polished parts. Here we have a 350ciV8 with Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor on top and mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission routing power to a Ford 9" in back. Headers begin the exhaust process and the car has power steering and runs on a 12 volt system.

  Undercarriage
Clean as could be underneath! Here we have dual exhaust rocking FlowMaster mufflers and exiting through chrome tips, brakes employed as front disc and rear drum, and suspension that includes a Mustang II front and leaf springs in back.

  Drive-Ability
Comfortable, compact, and cozy, the cabin is built for two and you'll be shoulder to shoulder the whole ride, so you better like the person next to you. Seriously though, a very nice interior from which we crank the V8 to life and roll this beauty onto the test loop where power is on tap, tracking is straight, and handling is superb. As a bonus to top off this orange dream, all functions work as intended! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

We'er thrilled to welcome another well sorted street rod to the family! That's the Classic Auto Mall family which is more like an adoption center. Instead of strolling through halls of dog pens, you can walk around the cars you'll potentially take home. This orange one will surely catch your eye and attention, and the attention of show goers and fellow drivers wherever you go!

      <description>1934 Ford 40 Deluxe Roadster

For consignment, a 1934 Ford 40 Deluxe roadster showing 51 miles but true miles are unknown. Not a nut or bolt was missed in the frame off restoration of this vehicle that included every mechanical component. Even the spark plugs are Ford scripted examples and the car itself has garnered two first place AACA Senior awards and received 994 out of 1,000 points in the Early Ford V-8 Dearborn Awards.

  Exterior
Two stage Coach Maroon covers both the body and fenders of this roadster, augmented by a hand pulled red pinstripe and 17-inch red wire wheels including the rear mounted spare. The stunning flowing lines of the car include new for '34 straight hood louvers and a wide, rubber coated running board that connects the graceful, arching fenders. The number of vertical bars on the grille was reduced for '34, but that doesn't make it any less stylish and the polished frame is breathtaking with all the proper ornamentation. Brown vinyl trim surrounds the flawless tan canvas top while the rear glass window is framed in metal. Overall, paint and trim are excellent with imperfections noted as a scratch near the running board, one by a hinge, and some bubbling and chipping paint from within a body line above the pinstripe.

  Interior
Saddle vinyl begins on the door cards as part of the LeBaron Bonney interior, continuing on the bench and rumble seats, all in very nice condition and column stitched. The attractive three spoke steering wheel front a burled walnut painted dash and knobs with refurbished gauges topped by a body colored dash pad. Footwells are cleanly lined with more of the saddle vinyl and the floor has a fitted gray rubberized mat surrounding both the shifter and the handbrake, looking fresh from 1934.

  Drivetrain
And talk about fresh looking! The Schwalm's rebuilt 221ci flathead V8 really does look showroom clean. It's fueled by a 2-barrel carburetor and rated at 90 horsepower, mated to a rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission that routes power to the rebuilt rear with 4.11 gears.

  Undercarriage
Lots of Dupont chassis black went into dressing up the underside and it's incredibly clean, contrasting nicely against the maroon floor panels. Mechanical drum brakes are front and rear and so are transverse leaf springs for suspension. The newer exhaust is a single system that flows through a stock style dome muffler with new hangers, exiting just behind the rear bumper.

  Drive-Ability
If it drives half as good as it looks, the car will be a winner! Well, we have a winner here because it runs as good as it looks with no hiccups along the way. This little piece of Americana performed probably as well, if not better than it did when that first fortunate buyer drove it off the lot. We note only the trip odometer not working, but all other functions operate as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

When we say no stone was unturned to complete this restoration, we mean no stone. That old adage of "you couldn't build it for that" may have never been more applicable than with this fine example of a fairly rare '34 Ford configuration. Here's a turnkey show winner that deserves an honored spot in your garage!
