      <title>1937 Ford Other</title>
      <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/other/1937/listing/251089</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: This is the real deal- an all steel 1937 Ford, not a fiberglass replica and it's built with incredible attention to detail. Sitting on a TCI chassis and powered by a proven GM crate motor, it's the perfect blend of craftsmanship, comfort, and reliability. The colors, the stance, and the quality will absolutely stop people in their tracks. But the best part is this- you can hop in, turn the key, and drive it anywhere with confidence.

EXTERIOR: This is an all steel 1937 Ford slantback sedan, even the fenders are steel. The body is absolutely stunning, laser-straight from every angle. I did not see any signs of bodywork, cracking, or bubbling. Everything lines up spot-on, and the doors shut solid with ease. The black paint is like a literal mirror, you could read a dictionary in the reflection. It's truly one of the slickest black finishes you'll see on any car. I really like that it keeps its nostalgic character with the bumpers, mirrors, V8 gas cap and trunk handle, and door handles, even a working passenger-side lock just like the original. Up front are teardrop Ford script headlights with neatly integrated turn signals, and in back are original style taillights. The running boards are covered in correct ribbed rubber. All the glass has been replaced with smoked glass and a V-butt windshield, along with new gaskets and weatherstrips. The stance is phenomenal. It's sitting on highly polished 15-inch Boyd wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, with extra wide rubber in back for the perfect hot rod look.

INTERIOR: The red interior is absolutely stunning, especially against the black exterior. It's clearly a professional custom job, the fit and finish are excellent throughout. Everything is wrapped in glove soft leather, and it's very comfortable, even for four adults. It has bucket seats up front, a matching rear seat, and sculpted upholstered side panels. Down on the floor is beautiful red carpet, and above is a red cloth headliner that finishes it off nicely. The dash is done very cleanly, retaining the original 1937 gauges, all in working order, with a more accurate temperature gauge discreetly hidden in the glove box. It also features original style knobs for a classic look. Below the dash is a neatly integrated custom panel housing the air conditioning controls and stereo. The front windows are power, the rears are manual, and all four operate just like 1937- they crack back slightly before rolling down for just the right amount of ventilation. I really like the banjo style steering wheel with a leather grip mounted on a tilt column along with the cruise control switches.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is exactly what you want in a hot rod- a GM Performance crate 350 making 300 horsepower. It's not over the top, it's not complicated- it's simply one of the best, most proven engines out there. Plenty of power, incredibly reliable, and built to be driven anywhere with confidence. It's equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke, a Mallory ignition system, and a set of coated headers. It also features heat and air conditioning. The cooling system is dialed in with a fan and shroud, plus dual auxiliary electric fans up front to keep it running cool. And when we say it's slick under the hood, we mean it literally, the underside of the hood is painted gloss black and polished like a mirror too.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Open the trunk using the original-style V8 handle and you'll be impressed with what's inside. It's been boxed and beautifully upholstered and has a carpeted floor. Even under the trunk lid is detailed- painted gloss black with red upholstered inserts. It's finished just as nicely as the rest of the car. It also comes with a bra and a car cover.

UNDERSIDE: This is a real '37 Ford, but not underneath! This hot rod features a completely updated TCI frame and chassis with modern performance upgrades throughout. Up front, it has an independent suspension with tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks, and power rack-and-pinion steering for precise handling. In the rear, it's equipped with parallel leaf springs, shocks, and a splined sway bar for added stability. The custom stainless exhaust system is fitted with stainless Cherry Bomb style mufflers, giving it a great sound and clean look. The brake system features front disc and rear drum brakes, along with a custom e-brake assembly. All lines have been replaced, and the power brake booster and master cylinder are neatly mounted underneath. The fuel system includes a composite tank and new fuel lines installed during the build. Looking up at the engine, it's very clean and equipped with a high torque starter, GM part number tag is still visible on the block. A 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission connects to a custom driveshaft leading to a Ford 9-inch rear end. The floors are solid metal, coated in durable chip guard, and the chassis is smooth, finished in semi-gloss black.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: This car is even better in person than any description can convey. The colors and overall quality are absolutely stunning. It has all the right features without going overboard- no gimmicks, no impractical add ons- just a well built and beautifully executed hot rod you can truly enjoy!

Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership.

      <description>1937 Ford 85 Deluxe Cabriolet!

For consignment, a 1937 Ford 85 Deluxe cabriolet showing 318 miles, but the true miles are unknown. This is a modernized, no expense spared street rod with a 6.2 LS3 engine.

  Exterior
Poised for show and hunkered down on a set of fantastic Foose wheels, this Orange Tricolor cab is a smooth operator and is led by a tall chrome grille flanked by a set of flush, teardrop headlights and fenders that sports a subtle pointed edge. Hood vents cut through the surface, arranged like a Gillette Proglide and topped with polished trim that follows along the shoulder line and the sloping orange rump, helping define the shape in profile. You'll note a trim chrome bumper out back and flush oval tail lights, but it's the pinstripe flourish that provides the ornamentation and it's quite elaborate. The tan canvas convertible top is in nice condition and the entire exterior is devoid of imperfections.

  Interior
If you think the outside shines, wait until you see the features here where the palette of tan leather and burlwood trim start on the doors with custom shaped armrests and tight, carpeted lowers and the 1937 Ford illumination on the sills is a nice touch. Low back leather bucket seats are two tone, with a snake belly type pattern down the center and both seats present cleanly and backed by a chrome styling bar. There's more reflective metal on the steering wheel spokes while the rim is in matching tan leading to the wood faced dash with white faced AutoMeter gauges with six arranged symmetrically to the right. It's more like 2037 in the center stack where a billet panel controls the A/C and digital lights, a pair of screens provide various points of information, and the push button transmission is clean and colorful, all in wood and stitched leather. Trimmed carpet pieces of fine tan pile cover the floor and finish the trunk and while the footwells show some use, it's all fully intact.

  Drivetrain
The custom treatment of the bay covers the engine in a color matched shroud and they dress up the 6.2 liter 376ci LS3 engine, fuel injected and rated at 420 horsepower.  Pushing buttons on the center console motivates the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission into service and power is routed to a Ford 9" in back.

  Undercarriage
The show must go on, and it does underneath where glossy orange paint mixes with polished metal components that warrant undercarriage mirrors to be brought to the show, without a doubt. No grease, no dirt, no rust, it's as showy as the topside. Here we have power disc brakes on all four wheels and dual exhaust that comes from headers into MagnaFlow mufflers and terminates in the back with chrome tips. Suspension consists of a Mustang II front end with air bags and a 4 link with airbags in back. The driveshaft, pumpkin and frame are among the orange painted items and parts of the rear axle and differential cover are reflective chrome.

  Drive-Ability
This is the kind of car you might trailer to a show, so we're keeping our test short so as to not kick up gravel. The comfortable interior enjoys a soundtrack of dual exhaust and it's quite the symphony while providing excellent power and good handling with low profile, ZR-rated tires. The only function not working on the car is the inability to fold down the top. All of the bells and whistles remaining however, work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

If you've ever dreamed about owning a Ridler Award contender, your orange dream just came true. We can't guarantee any awards, but it would be difficult not to give this car a trophy just for showing up. It's a spectacular build that for now, only requires a microfiber towel to keep clean!

Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that's more than 8 acres!). <link>https://hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/other/1937/listing/211360</link>
      <description>1937 Ford Tudor Humpback Sedan

Ford was the world's first "green" company.  Although probably not in the sense that you're thinking.  From the outset, Ford used animal waste to power its American and British plants until 1939.  Who knows, if it hadn't become so successful, they might have continued the practice.  Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were total bros.  Lots of geniuses become besties, if only because it's hard to relate to people who aren't quite so tack-sharp as you are.  Ford and Edison were lifelong friends who owned neighboring vacation properties in Florida, and when Edison died - and this is more than a little weird, we'll admit - Ford actually captured his dying breaths in a test tube.

Nowadays you can't be too sentimental, You best bet's a true baby blue Continental. Hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk It's still rock and roll to me"...and for consignment we give you a barn find in 1937 Tudor Humpback diamond in the rough.  Rust and ravages of time have taken their toll on this Ford Humpback example, but with careful hands and some commitment financially, it can become your dream car.  Think of all the possibilities, and if you have nothing else to do, you will be occupied for a bit of time.

NO TITLE-SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE ONLY

  Exterior
Mismatched gray panels show on this example, which still shows its beautiful teardrop headlights and V styled ribbed vertical grille and surprisingly little to no exterior rust.  The beaked hood remains painted in well patinaed factory Ford Gull Gray.  Some surface rust and uneven applications of body filler is noted on the front and rear front rounded fenders and worn running boards are seen connecting them.  A darker shade of gray takes over for the roof and iconic humpback rear.  All glass is intact with minimal clouding.  Keeping this pre-war skate on the ground black steel 16-inch wheels wrapped in dry rotted and cracked wide white.

  Interior
In Gestalt theory we can maintain the whole is something else, or different than the sum of its parts.  This car contradicts that theory as the interior is intact and complete but suffering the ravages of the last 86 years.  The basics are there, but in the end, when you've put the time into this, you will have a whole that is more than the sum of its current parts.  Camel tan mohair, torn and showing the seat stuffing, covers both the front buckets and expansive rear bench.  Mohair covered armrests are attached to the rear side panels, all flanking the bench.  Up front, a now surface rust and painted steel dash holds the antique cream factory gauges along with a few knobs and pulls.  In front of the passenger is a glovebox, sans its door.  Moving downward we spot an added heater assembly hanging just above the surface rusted steel flooring.  We note that the heel/toe steel sections have been removed allowing you to view the ground with ease.  Turning our heads skyward gives us a view of the torn and tattered hanging mohair headliner.

  Drivetrain
A V8 with 221 cubes and possibly original to this car sits within a patina engine bay.  Not perfect but certainly not left to rust away.  A single 2-barrel carb and a 3-speed manual transmission are noted for the drivetrain.  Way in the back a 3.78 geared axle turns the tires.

  Undercarriage
A peek underneath allows us to the view the all encompassing surface rusted frame, body hangers and flooring.  The good news is we were not able to spot any invasive rust, even on the undersides of the running boards.  A single exhaust and transverse leaf spring, suspension is on all 4 corners, and mechanical drum brakes abound seen everywhere.

As with any barn find the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this car is the quintessential example of such theory.  The '37 Ford humpback is truly one of the most beautifully designed cars Ford produced during the Art Deco era of car design and building.  This example needs a good hand, and a creative mind, some blood sweat and tears to bring it back and roll it out of the barn.
