The company went through a lot of changes over the years being acquired by Leyland motors, then the British Leyland Specialist Division until it became dormant under the Rover Group which is currently owned by BMW. The TR6 is a sports car they manufactured in England and although production began many months earlier it was released in January for the 1969 model year. They were sold in the UK but over 80K of the 91,850 produced by 1976 had been exported to the US. They fed right into US market providing the go to vehicle for those Americans wanting a small 2 seater sports car with the British flair. This cool TR6 was produced in that very last year and is a great driver. The car is painted in a Dark Green and wears all of its original bumpers, trim and that TR6 British flag. It has a Black cloth convertible top that is in good shape and it comes with a Black boot cover that snaps into place.
