Here’s the 2019 Goodguys, Classic Instruments “Street Rod of the Year”, a 1932 Ford Victoria owned by Phil and Debbie Becker of Dwight, IL.  The car was named “Legacy Victoria”, because this same 32 Vicky has been in the family for 45 years.  Phil originally built and hot rodded this Vicky so he could transport Deb and their sons, Timm and Todd to rod runs and national events across America.

Phil and Deb’s interest in other cars that they built through the years allowed the Vicky some garage time.  Three years ago, Phil and Deb decided to give the Vicky some love and they approached Dave Lane of Fast Lane Rod Shop to restore and help the Becker’s bring the car to its current level.

J& B Microfinish was asked to machine and finish some critical parts, included the floating mechanism for the floating knock off assembly, hood latches, gauge cluster bezel, door handles, steering shaft, making or modifying all engine, transmission and drive train bolts and screws and more, some 241 parts in all.

Seven Facebook post have been created for our Facebook business page, outlining all the design work and machining that we accomplished for the Legacy Victoria in detail.  We will also create a “website feature” of it in the future.

We are very happy for the Becker family and wish them continued success in the future.
