Goodguys First Ever Giveaway Hot Rod Back on the Road

(Posted January 16, 2013)  The 29 was the first ever Hot Rod given away by the Goodguys. The original owner (Carl Harrera) sold the car and then it sold again. A friend in San Jose, CA told me about the Hi- Boy Roadster for sale. As soon as I saw the Roadster I had to have it. At that time I did not know the background of the Roadster until the Goodguys contacted me. They ask if I would bring the 29 to the 20th. The Roadster has been repainted the same color and has new pin stripping. The engine is now a 383 Chevy with 1960 Hilborn injection, but the Hilborn injection have been modified to EFI by Autotriend EFI.
