A Picture Perfect Day at Greenwood Lake Power Boat Association Spring Nationals to benefit Greenwood Forest Fire Company.

Fourteen different classes of boats were on the lake, including hydroplanes, flat bottoms and jersey speed skiffs, Grand Prix level boats included, And for the first time racing will be Garveys.This is an American Power Boat Association sanctioned race, with boats coming from Canada, California and everywhere in between.

The heats consists of four and seven boats in each heat and race traversing the one mile oval in the lake. Each race will be five laps, or five miles.

Browns point is the perfect location,The shoreline slopes up naturally so it’s easy to view the races. Could not ask for a better day perfect weather for a day at the lake.
