Hot August Nights 2017 is the 31st  Anniversary of the Reno area’s biggest event of the year . What begins a local party at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in 1986 now draws over 800,000 people during its run. More than 6,000 registered classic vehicles attend the event. Participants in the event come from 38 states and
other countries. Hot Aug. Nights has the largest combined Show-n-Shine prize purses in the world this year offering $150,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. The Swap Meet and Cool Car Corral boasts more than 700 venders and almost 500 classic vehicles for sale.
